This book contains the proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Supersymmetry and the Unification of Fundamental Interactions, SUSY06, held in Irvine, California, in June 2006. This conference took place just before the start of the Large Hadron Collider, widely anticipated to yield profound new results, and provided a focus for the growing excitement in high energy physics through over 250 plenary and parallel talks.

This 17th in the SUSY conference series brought together large numbers of both experimental and theoretical physicists interested in presenting their predictions for the anticipated results for the first data from the Large Hadron Collider. Experimentalists gave talks on what they should be able to measure while theorists gave talks on how their own favorite model might be tested with the new data. Talks were also given on current results, both from accelerator-based physics and from astrophysical measurements.
