This gentle and uplifting story is designed to help young children come to terms with losing someone special. The book follows the story of Bradley Bunny and his grandfather, Grandpa Rabbit. At one stage, Bradley asks Grandpa Rabbit what heaven is like. Grandpa says that he has always believed it to be a 'super special' place. He then asks Bradley to imagine 'a place in the sky that feels special'. Bradley Bunny imagines a carrot themed carnival in the sky! Grandpa Rabbit says that he imagines a beautiful garden, full of old friends and delicious food. Either way, when Grandpa Rabbit eventually goes to Heaven, Bradley is secure in the knowledge that that Grandpa will be very happy there. At the beginning of the story, Grandpa Rabbit had given Bradley a gift. At the end of the story, this gift reappears, and serves as a moving reminder to Bradley that, whilst the grandpa he loves has left, in some way, he will always be with him.

Living Through Loss provides a foundational identification of the many ways in which people experience loss over the life course, from childhood to old age. It examines the interventions most effective at each phase of life, combining theory, sound clinical practice, and empirical research with insights emerging from powerful accounts of personal experience. The authors emphasize that loss and grief are universal yet highly individualized. Loss comes in many forms and can include not only a loved one’s death but also divorce, adoption, living with chronic illness, caregiving, retirement and relocation, or being abused, assaulted, or otherwise traumatized. They approach the topic from the perspective of the resilience model, which acknowledges people’s capacity to find meaning in their losses and integrate grief into their lives. The book explores the varying roles of age, race, culture, sexual orientation, gender, and spirituality in responses to loss. Presenting a variety of models, approaches, and resources, Living Through Loss offers invaluable lessons that can be applied in any practice setting by a wide range of human service and health care professionals. This second edition features new and expanded content on diversity and trauma, including discussions of gun violence, police brutality, suicide, and an added focus on systemic racism.

A picture book that is designed to help children who are struggling to give up their dummies. Children love it because it's a fabulous fairy story with beautiful illustrations, and parents love it because it enables children to kick their dummy habit once and for all. The book follows the story of a little girl called Bea, who refuses to give up her dummy. Then one night her mother persuades her to leave all her dummies outside her room for the 'Dummy Fairy' to take - (in exchange for a special gift). Bea gets to meet the fairy, who shows her that it IS possible to give up dummies without shedding a single tear. The book uses a fun and imaginative story to teach children why it makes sense to give up dummies, and it also offers up some fun ideas to stop them missing them once they've gone. After reading, parents can simply follow the book at home, and arrange an exciting visit from the Dummy Fairy, to the delight of their child. Bea Gives Up Her Dummy provides an easy, fun way for parents to say goodbye to dummies for good.

Bunny (real name Bernard) doesn't understand why his late grandfather wants him to get a tattoo. Actually, Bunny doesn't understand a lot of things, so it's good that his older brother, Spencer, is happy to explain things to him. But this is a task Bunny is supposed to do on his own, and nobody is more surprised than Bunny when, after he gets tattooed, he is befriended by a kid named Jaden and adopted into Jaden's gang. The gang hangs out at a gym, where Bunny learns to fight, but when it finally dawns on him that the gang is involved in some pretty shady—and dangerous—business, Bunny is torn between his loyalty to his new friends and doing what he knows is right. Bunny's adventures start in Weerdest Day Ever!, part of The Seven Prequels and continue in The Wolf and Me, part of The Seven Sequels.
