The Adventures Of Mr Ant

This is a collection of bedtime stories told to my children when they were young. They wanted something new, so I invented the main character, Mr. Ant. He is an adventurous ant. Not willing to settle for normal ant life, he starts on an adventure. He makes friends, overcomes problems, and makes interesting discoveries that lead to fun and unexpected adventures. It is filled with lots of adventures, with some good morals on the side. Mr. Ant shows us that we can learn new things and have fun while learning. It shows that friendship does not depend upon being the same but upon a willingness to accept to others as they are. Sometimes being a friend is an adventure of its own.

Princeton and Ava-Paisley help each other and work together while learning the basics to daily life lessons. They learned that working together as a team can help get many things accomplished. Not only did they create the best cookies while working together, but they gained many Ant friends as well. As siblings they will always have to help each other through their adventures.

Kender, a soldier ant, faces life’s problems and adventures and seeks the advise and guidance from a wise elder ant named Mr. Bonk. Mr. Bonk tells Kender about stories taken from the Bible and relates the story to Kender’s situation. The stories from the Bible are brought to light in a simple and wonderful manner. The stories are easy reads and are filled with sketches that depict the event and help keep the interest of the child.

The author alternates stories of individual ants with the research of two field biologists in Costa Rica.

This book is about a baby mouse living in a old drafty log and one day goes on a search for things he can gather for a nice soft bed. Along the way he meets alot of different characters who help him in his journey.
