The Aviation Security Improvement Act Of 1990

Examines the Federal Aviation Admin's. (FAA) response to the Aviation Security Improvement Act of 1990. Includes recommendations aimed at ensuring that: those U.S. airports with a high volume of traffic and complex security programs are properly assessed to fully examine threats and vulnerabilities; U.S. citizens traveling on foreign airlines receive an adequate level of security; efforts to safeguard mail and cargo carried by passenger aircraft are effectively carried out; and FAA's efforts are sufficient to meet current and future challenges to aviation security.
