From princess to slave in the blink of an eye. . . . Himiko's world is falling apart. An attack by a rival clan, the Ookami, has left many from her tribe dead or enslaved. God's Chosen: Understanding Spiritual Warfare is a book that inspires, encourages and teaches Christians to effectively manage warfare and live victoriously for Christ. It offers Christians a fresh look at the basis of putting on God's full armor and learning to use the means God affords, namely His strength and mighty power. As Believers prepare to fight triumphantly against evil and wicked forces, we come to an understanding of the challenge, purpose and outcome of spiritual warfare. Putting on God's armor and standing firm in Him, amply equips us to fight offensively and defensively. Knowing Jesus fixed the fight in our favor produces confidence to oppose the enemy and remain faithful to God. Through conscious engagement in this fight we win against all odds. In 2005, during prayer, the Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book on spiritual warfare. I was going through a precarious time and as usual, I sought God in prayer and study of the Word. The Holy Spirit led me to Ephesians 6:10-18. As I studied and meditated, God moved me to begin writing on the subject of warfare. During research and study, I discovered there are not enough books addressing this phase of our journey. Therefore, I saw the need to press through varied attacks to produce this important work.

Underlay God's purposes and programs throughout all the ages is to bring to a climax the full Salvation of man, which is having the fallen man recreated or regenerated and growing up into perfection in the image of Him who created Him or having man attain the full measure of the stature of Christ, who is the express image of God. In this realm of life, sickness, poverty, sorrow, and pains are no more, and death is completely abolished. This is Eden, this is paradise, and this is the kingdom of God where righteousness dwells. This realm is attainable now! I know you wouldn't want to miss out on this. Consequently, the curtain is ready to be drawn up; all things are ready, and God is now set to unveil His Sons. To this end, God is restoring the Sonship message and the reality of the establishment of the kingdom of God upon the earth. This gospel seems to have been lost and put aside for over a century now. God is causing as many as are ordained or predestined for this to enter into this realm of life. This is the fullness of the spirit. In this book, the author, in prophetic undertones, unravels the mystery of the coming salvation by the Elect and Chosen ones, who are the manifestation of the Sons of God at this close of the church age, to the intent that those whom God apprehends may be fully apprehended and persuaded to know the exceeding riches of His grace towards us whom He has Chosen in love before the foundation of the world to the praise of His glory and to know the exceeding greatness of His power that is available to us, in us and through us, whom He has Chosen, and to display the manifold or many-sided wisdom of God unto the principalities and powers by the Church in this age and that which is to come. This book is very timely. Be warned! This book is revolutionary. It will upturn your conventional religious worldview and beliefs and set you ablaze on fire and holy desire to lay hold of the fullness of God in Christ. Above all, it promises to be a blessing to all who read it and give heed to the words of this prophecy. Remain blessed!

One of the central touchstones of Second Temple Judaism is election. The Jews considered themselves a people set apart for God?s special purpose. So it is not surprising that this concept plays such an important role in Pauline theology. In this careful and provocative study, Chad Thornhill considers how Second Temple understandings of election influenced key Pauline texts. Thornhill seeks to establish the thought patterns of the ancient texts regarding election, with sensitivity to social, historical and literary factors. He carefully considers questions of "extent" (ethnic/national or remnant), the relationship to the individual (corporate or individual in focus), and the relationship to salvation (divine/human agency and the presence of "conditions"). Thornhill looks at the markers or conditions that defined various groups, and considers whether election was viewed by ancient authors as merited, given graciously or both. Thorough and measured, the author contends that individual election is not usually associated with a "soteriological" status but rather with the quality of the individual (or sometimes group) in view—the collective entity is in view in the Jewish notion of election. While Paul is certainly able to move beyond these categories, Thornhill shows how he too follows these patterns.
