In addition to these fea tures, I mention another that ought to find favor with preachers. The verses are num bered, so as to permit of precise reference to chapter and verse, whenever necessary, with out further consulting of the Bible. The figures employed for this purpose are small and above the line, and will not impede the reader. As another and important aid to good reading, a large clear type has been used.
