Religion is one topic that could spur heated debates yet this institution, which is supposed to sow love and peace, has become an instigator of war and the division of mankind. Is there any way to unite all the people in worshipping the one God, The Creator of all? Joan Samuel's view of religion is as a whole that is divided into many parts and believes that one is connected to the other like pieces of a puzzle. She says that the answers to perplexing questions about one's religion could be found in another religion, and is a means to develop a deeper understanding of God. In her belief there is no wrong religion. Instead of hating one religion over another, she asks that each person respect the other and be united by thruth to attain a higher form of spirituality. The Goddess Energy Returned 999-There Is No Religion Higher Than Truth is an attempt to overturn the animosity between differing beliefs of mankind by looking beyond religion and focusing on the development of oneself-morally and spiritually. About the Author Joan Samuel is a native of Trinidad and Tobago. She attended Beixton College, London England, Clayton State College and Atlanta College. Her interest in reading and religion has led her to study many different Christian sects and other religions.

Honorable Mention for the 2022 Elli Köngäs-Maranda Prize awarded by the Women's Section of the American Folklore Society Goddess characters are revered as feminist heroes in the popular media of many cultures. However, these goddess characters often prove to be less promising and more regressive than most people initially perceive. Goddesses in film, television, and fiction project worldviews and messages that reflect mostly patriarchal culture (included essentialized gender assumptions), in contrast to the feminist, empowering levels many fans and critics observe. Building on critiques of other skeptical scholars, this feminist, folkloristic approach deepens how our remythologizing of the ancient past reflects a contemporary worldview and rhetoric. Structures of contemporary goddess myths often fit typical extremes as either vilified, destructive, dark, and chaotic (typical in film or television); or romanticized, positive, even utopian (typical in women’s speculative fiction). This goddess spectrum persistently essentializes gender, stereotyping women as emotional, intuitive, sexual, motherly beings (good or bad), precluded from complex potential and fuller natures. Within apparent good-over-evil, pop-culture narrative frames, these goddesses all suffer significantly. However, a few recent intersectional writers, like N. K. Jemisin, break through these dark reflections of contemporary power dynamics to offer complex characters who evince “hopepunk.” They resist typical simplified, reductionist absolutes to offer messages that resonate with potential for today’s world. Mythic narratives featuring goddesses often do, but need not, serve merely as ideological mirrors of our culture’s still problematically reductionist approach to women and all humanity.

How deep does the Second Creation go? The Second Coming and I:A Reading for Leanne Long seeks to answer this question. Book 1 seeks to prove reincarnation and in doing so, reveal the Second Creation. It translates alphabetical names into numerical names, permitting us to determine whether there is a nonrandom energy between different people. The greater the degree of nonrandomness, the greater the probability that one is a reincarnation of the other. It also demonstrates that our reincarnation history takes us back to the first medicine wheel, Sirius (Lemuria), home to Adam, who subsequently manifests as Jesus. Finally, author John Kordupel addresses the question of how one cures an illness that had its genesis in a previous lifetime, arising from negative energy built up over a lifetime and continuing through death. Kordupel sought out energy healer Leanne Long in an attempt to dissipate the negative energies influencing his own life, and now he shares his discoveries with the world. This study, the first volume in a series, explores a wide range of topics relating to spirituality and energies that shift among people and across lives.

This book examines the relationship between war and gender through the analysis of literary texts. Focusing on the fiction of Dorothy L. Sayers, Stevie Smith, Virginia Woolf, Naomi Mitchison and Elizabeth Bowen during the 1930s and 1940s, the book considers the different and sometimes contradictory ways in which British women writers responded both to the threat of war and to actual conflict in this period.
