Excerpt from The Irish Naturalist, 1920, Vol. 29: A Monthly Journal of General Irish Natural History Returning to Killainey on the 25th and remaining until the 3oth of June, the count ry to the west of the town was explored, and here, in the Kenmare demesne, Comosoma pedicularmm, Choleva nigrita, Atomaria linearis and Crypto hypnus dermestoides occurred under dead vegetable matter a few Hyb'ius ater were found under stones on the lake shore plenty of H ylaster ater, H 07520113 and H'. Palliatas and a few M yelopkilus piniperda were dug out of the stumps of recently felled pines Rhizophagus depressus, R. Fermgi news, R. Dispar, Phloeopom reptans and H omalium pusillum were all found in some numbers under the bark of the felled pines, and Pityopthoms pubescens was beaten from the dead boughs of these trees.
