Excerpt from The Journal of the Senate of the Eighth Session of the Legislature of the State of Nevada, 1877: Begun on Monday, the First Day of January, and Ended on Thursday, the First Day of March Mr. Cassidy moved an amendment that the roll of all the Senators be called. Mr. Cassidy moved to indefinitely postpone Mr. Edwards' motion. The President ruled the three foregoing motions out of order, and directed the Secretary to call the roll of all the Senators.
