He also served as principal of St. Charles High School, a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon high school, as a leadership consultant and as a mathematics teacher. From the working-class neighborhoods of Chicago to the White House Rose Garden, Kostel has experience with organizational success and conflict resolution.
