They call me Featherchicken. That's what all my friends call me. This letter is about my Father. God chose me from the beginning of time (Psalm 139:13-17). My Dad (Abba) says amazing things in the Bible that are just too hard to fathom (believe) but are true. When I started to read Psalm 91, I said, "These are all the promises and blessings in God's Word." I do believe Moses wrote it for the children of Israel on their hiking trip. All the stories in this letter are a part of me and are true--from Lucas Paul Randal Hines to the storm on Lake Michigan to the gift of believing and to another level of humility. My Father is more than a friend. He walks with me and holds my hand. Wherever I go, He is there. David wrote Psalm 139. You need to read it in the Amplified Bible. I have learned to believe and hold on to my faith in the Lord Jesus. Smith Wigglesworth said, "Only believe," and that is what I do. And I have the confidence and the assurance through God's Word. For God does not lie. That is the truth. The Father's work is established in heaven and on earth. What He said, He meant; and He meant what He said. The power of His words can name all the stars in heaven, give birth to the earth, and give life to all His children through His son, Jesus. Salvation is only in Jesus. Ask Christ into your life, and you have started the greatest treasure hunt in your life. When I was twenty-five, I found the greatest treasure in the front yard of my house in Irving, Texas. That was back in 1975, and it was the greatest treasure I have ever found because the treasure keeps growing every day. I read the Father's Word, and it keeps the temple clean. I am the temple keeper. Discover who you are, what you have, and what you can do through the Father's work. Read His love letter to the world.

Set apart from my mother's womb, called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son to me that I might preach.--Galatians 1:15-16.The story you are about to read is one of how God used a cheap little maiden "claiming" colt to bring honor to Himself. It is also a story of how He revealed Himself to those whose lives were connected to the colt. It is a story of lives touched, prayers answered, and God's saving grace. A reflection of God using this colt to show His awesome presence in the daily life of two trainers, two jockeys, an owner, and myself. (What I was to this colt is still an unknown to me, yet the lessons I learned from this experience were, are, and always will be a blessing to me.)This is a story about a dark bay colt named Pluie's Stock by Pluie's Sylvester and about how God used him to uncover truths about Himself. Pluie is a plain but honest horse. He does not have a valuable pedigree, as you can see from his sire, a son of Verbatim. His breeding fame is linked to his dam, an unaccomplished daughter by Key to the Mint, the winner of the racing's hallowed Eclipse Award, American champion, three-year-old male (1972). Pluie, however, did not yet have racing credentials of significance himself. When he arrived in Texas, Pluie had a 0 for 6 race record, his best effort being a second-place finish going a mile.Racing in Faith is also a story about forgiveness and restoration when two friends, caught off guard from what was supposed to be a blessed event that turned into one of agony. But God, in His loving covenant to His faithful, straightened out the crooked road yielding a partnership between the friends and lifting up the team around Pluie's Stock. God can use the unusual to reveal Himself to His children. Psalm 72:18 reminds us "the God of Israel who alone works wonders." It is a story of how a minute and thirty-nine seconds transformed my life, affirmed God's love of me, and gave me an unending desire to help others know God.As you read of Pluie's races, defeats, and triumphs, you will see God at work. When you read of other's doubts, suspicions, and criticisms of Pluie's care and racing career, you will see how dramatically God intercedes in our daily affairs. This is a simple yet profound story of God, His sovereignty, His majesty, His love, His mercies, His provision, His sufficiency, His blessings, and His desires for each of us.It is my deepest prayer that you will get a glimpse of the magnificence of God as you read Pluie's story. I suspect if you read this story with an open heart, God will manifest Himself to you too.

The horrors written are actual events I witnessed and was told to write in this book to warn the church and the world of the coming judgment of God on this generation, which God has held back from allowing to come to mankind! Man has and is planting contrary to God's right law of seedtime and harvest. Man as a whole has been planting seeds of thought, words, and deeds that are insane and against the laws of right-use-ness. God's way is right-use-ness! Any other way is a perverted life and world. The horrible events I was taken to and shown are mankind's harvest to come! As we see a little now, but in the next hundred years, these insane acts will increase! So this book is partly to provoke God's people to awaken and prepare themselves and their families to the world, to turn back to the living God through Jesus Christ as it was in the day of Noah. This is what that angel told me!

Very Good is the direct result of an encounter I had with the Holy Spirit, where he directed me to find everything I believed about God's nature, design, and purpose for humanity in Scripture. The six years I spent studying the Word radically changed my life. During this time I discovered God's very good original plan for man; the effects that Satan's deception has had on mankind as man was separated from the nature and purpose of God, causing them to live as slaves to sin, Satan, and death; how the finished work of Christ restored God's original plan for man, restoring us back into the image and likeness of God so that we can live the abundant life he designed for us and fulfill our divine purpose of revealing God's glory on the earth; and how God intended for us to use our faith to believe and receive every redemptive promise that was already provided for by God's grace.
