The Righteousness Of God A Sermon Etc

The great question to be made known is, “How shall man be just with God? How can I come before the Lord in innocence?” and I wish, if the Lord will, to make you understand: I. That you must have perfect righteousness—or you will not be saved. II. That you have no righteousness of your own of any sort, and therefore by yourself you cannot be saved. III. That the Lord Himself must be your Righteousness, and so you shall be saved. May God the Holy Spirit, who can convert the most aged, the most careless, the most sinful (I speak that which I do know myself), accompany the words I am about to speak, and make them seasonable to all your souls!
