The Wayfare

This collection of poems is based on the theme ‘Human feelings and Nature’. Man, the supreme creation on earth has embellished her with his imagined beauty .That nature also accepts his stature in many contexts, signifying him almost next to the Almighty which is very obvious but with carrying himself and also supporting life in the existing contrast of suitable and unsuitable circumstances where mankind has made many giant leaps, it’s an irony of achievement that each foot has a prick and each heart has a wounded corner. Flow and ebb of life makes him sometimes ignorant of emotions and sentiments of others. Austerity hardens his heart. Possessiveness makes him malicious. Contrary to this, the nature’s calmness, equilibrium naturally maintained in feelings towards one another appears quite visible in the flora and fauna co-existence, though, there is no communicative inter-action. Silence cares for all sentiments. This concise selection of poems is an amalgamation of feelings pertaining to all creation. Many feel, life by no means a smooth sail but a troubled sea, a stormy sky and a thorny field. Every poem in this book mingles freshness in air, gives solace and shelter and inspires courage to move forward on The Wayfare.

Al-Shaikh Abu Madyan al-Gawth, the great axis of sainthood once remarked, The Truth Most High places on the tongues of the scholars of all times with that which is befitting and needed by the people of the time. This work is a befitting example of this, in that it is an exposition of the path to God Most High the quintessential facet of humanity explained in a style and manner that is most appropriate and pertinent for the need of the time. Having recognized people going in to oblivion and mass heedlessness, the author has penned (which Ive been told almost entirely from memory without recourse to books) this unique work which is captivating but at the same time highly methodical and serves as a practical guide to relocating humanity back on the track to the Divine pleasure. I sincerely pray that this book remains a means of guidance and direction for all of humanity, a humanity one might add that is plagued by impending threats of international conflict across the globe. Indeed if humanity were to engage in the Art of wayfare, then Warfare may never arise and peace would always thrive. Data matching (also known as record or data linkage, entity resolution, object identification, or field matching) is the task of identifying, matching and merging records that correspond to the same entities from several databases or even within one database. Based on research in various domains including applied statistics, health informatics, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, database management, and digital libraries, significant advances have been achieved over the last decade in all aspects of the data matching process, especially on how to improve the accuracy of data matching, and its scalability to large databases. Peter Christen’s book is divided into three parts: Part I, “Overview”, introduces the subject by presenting several sample applications and their special challenges, as well as a general overview of a generic data matching process. Part II, “Steps of the Data Matching Process”, then details its main steps like pre-processing, indexing, field and record comparison, classification, and quality evaluation.
