The series started in 1880 and, with a few gaps, has continued to the present day. There is a thriving second-band market in these books but the pre-1945 Times Guides are virtually impossible to find. Politico's is publishing these guides in a five volume series, each containing facsimile copies of three issues. The guides contain full election results and biographical details of the winning and losing candidates in each constituency.
