For as far back as I can remember, I have told stories. I can take nearly any situation or event and make a funny story of it. Life is too short to miss out on the fun part. Also for many years I have been writing articles and short stories for various newsletters, newspapers, and even national magazines; some paid but most for free. I enjoy writing to entertain, to inform, and to educate. I have a different view of the world than the average person and not afraid of sharing it. I have, for many years, wanted to write a book but thought that anything I would have to say would be out of date before I finished the book. And then one day, not too long ago, I had an epiphanylife stories, humor, fun philosophy, and basic life lessons dont go out of date. So I wrote this book. The book is a collection of family stories, tall tales, a few reprints of previously published newspaper articles, a little fun philosophy, and a technical issue or two. Except for a very few of the stories, as noted in the stories, all are original works of mine. The contents are, as you will notice, printed and listed simply, alphabetically. I thought this random arrangement would minimize the potential for one to lose interest and fall asleep reading various versions of the same thing. My intent in writing this book was not just to make some extra cash, but to put down in writing, in a more permanent form, some of my lifes experiences, crazy ideas, and a little technical correctness, for family, friends, and a few others to enjoy. Please enjoy.

A couple of reviews from my first book “True Story, I Swear It - Maybe” The best read ever. When I want to laugh or cry, I just go to the story that will give me the emotion I am looking for! I love it and I have always loved your since of humor. Entertaining and offbeat view of life. Easy and funny read about author's life experiences. Reminds me of the late Justin Wilson. This book is all random thoughts in one book and it really works. I wish there were more books like this in the world!

Treasure Island is an adventure classic written by Robert Louis Stevenson, narrating a tale of "buccaneers and buried gold". Its influence is enormous on our own perception of pirates, including treasure maps marked with an "X", schooners, the Black Spot, tropical islands, and one-legged seamen bearing parrots on their shoulders. Stevenson stated "Treasure Island came out of the great Captain Johnson's History of the Notorious Pirates.", which is included in this edition in its entirety with all the incredible life stories of the notorious world famous pirates that inspired Stevenson and are also mentioned in the novel.

CLASSIC 6,000,000+ COPY BESTSELLING SERIESAmazon Top 10 in Paranormal & Supernatural!"FATE magazine is fascinating." -Steven KingThe world is not what we think it is.The individuals whose experiences you are about to read know that only too well, since nothing in their lives had prepared them for their encounters with things that are not supposed to happen - but did! Events like these remain hidden because those they happen to are afraid to speak out of a natural reluctance to have their sincerity or sanity questioned. Societies define their own realities and those who challenge them do so at their own peril. The moral seems to be that where these kinds of events are concerned, ignorance is the best policy.Ignorance, of course, will not stop people from having strange, inexplicable experiences. Mysterious stuff will continue to fall out of the sky. People will continue to have bizarre UFO encounters. Little men, monsters, talking mongooses and invisible presences won't stop their determined trespassing into our reality. While most of the world turns a deaf ear to these dimensions of experience, FATE has been listening. And a great number of people have shared their stories with FATE.You are about to read the strangest of them, the reports that represent the greatest challenge to science, reason and understanding. What you will find here, in The World's Strangest True Stories, is nothing less than a full, unobstructed view of these other realities, tantalizing glimpses of things that don't belong here, of worlds not our own...

The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 and May 1693. More than 200 people were accused, 19 of whom were found guilty and executed by hanging (14 women and 5 men). One other man, Giles Corey, was crushed to death for refusing to plead, and at least five people died in jail. It was the deadliest witch hunt in the history of colonial North America. This collection contains works that concern this infamous witch hunt and trials: The Wonders of the Invisible World by Cotton Mather and Increase Mather Salem Witchcraft by Charles Wentworth Upham Salem Witchcraft and Cotton Mather by Charles Wentworth Upham A Short History of the Salem Village Witchcraft Trials by M. V. B. Perley An Account of the Witchcraft Delusion at Salem in 1682 by James Thacher House of John Procter, Witchcraft Martyr, 1692 by William P. Upham The Salem Witchcraft by Samuel Roberts Wells
