Turtle Mule Adventures

"Turtle - Mule Adventures" is a third paperback in a series. George, the Turtle - Mule, travels with his friends he meets on his journey. Readers will smile, laugh and learn about animal characteristics and human behavior along the way. Adults and youth, ages (9 - 12) will gain valuable insight into some of the following individual and social themes: Perception of Others, Respect, Power of Words, Patience, Self Concept and Control.

This paperback book is a continuation of the first "Adventures of the Rat and Turtle Mule." It continues as an adventure with the Turtle - Mule meeting other animals on it's way. Real life lessons are also continued. This will give the reader an opportunity to discuss these concepts with others or in a school setting. Both books appeal to both children (ages 9 - 12) and Adults.

These books can be read as a series or separately. The focus is on the following individual and social themes: determination, patience, overcoming physical/personal challenges, perception of others, friendship, aging of the elderly, and communication with others. These books can be enjoyed by Adults of all ages and Youth (9-12).

When last we saw Turtle Tom he had met a new friend and was being introduced to all the fascinating creatures in the zoo. She is best known for her first novel "Chip of the Flying U" about Flying U Ranch and the "Happy Family" of cowboys who lived there. The novel rocketed Bower to fame, and she wrote an entire series of novels set at the Flying U Ranch. Several of Bower's novels were turned into films.
