These simple statements hold huge implications about how the universe must operate if it was truly infinite rather than finite, as is commonly thought. In one sense, this book, Universal Cycle Theory, may seem radical because it postulates that the universe operates in ways that are dramatically different from what we are taught. Yet, this new theory is conventional in the sense that it closely conforms to virtually all existing laws, equations, and observations. There are only two elements that make the Universal Cycle Theory radical cycles and infinity. Other than that, much of what you read in this book will seem familiar and conventional. Cycles are crucial because they are reflections of how matter behaves in an infinite universe: as vortices and waves. A vortex forms when matter rotates, producing circular cycles. A wave forms when colliding matter compresses and decompresses, producing linear cycles. Infinity is crucial because it explains the extent and structure of the universe. We assume that matter is infinitely divisible in the microscopic direction and infinitely integrable in the macroscopic direction. We assume that time was infinite in the past and will be infinite in the future. This concept of infinity is unique, having never been employed in a model of the universe before. It resolves many of the paradoxes and contradictions currently riddling physics and cosmology.

On the book you will find a direct demonstration and complete of the Last Theorem of Fermat, Original). It also exposes a theory of the natural cycle of events, even applied to the Stock Exchange. You will find a discussion of the Fibonacci series and not, with original method for the determination of the element n. Also there are some small programs written in ""C"", for tests on Primes, with Fibonacci series. Finally you will find a simple but interesting program for Lotto and Superenalotto, very fast, because it is based on an original Filtering Algorithm, of the combinations.

We are an integral part of this giant universe. As energies are released in space, they create measurable impacts on galaxies and solar systems as well as on our small planet. Cycles upon cycles of energy impact our lives, and although we may not be able to see them, they do affect us. They cause us to react in ways that, for millennia, influenced the course of our history, economics, and even our psychology. When author Steve Puetz worked as a market analyst, he became interested in cyclic analysis and began a search for a plausible explanation of cyclic behavior in the markets. As the database grew and his research progressed, he began to see that all cycles-whether financial, sociological, gravitational, geomagnetic, or geophysical-had a correlation, and from this realization evolved the Unified Cycle Theory. The Unified Cycle Theory not only organizes, unifies, explains, and clarifies the many cycles already discovered by a variety of scientists, researchers, and analysts, but is one that also predicts important turning points in mankinds social and economic future. Most surprisingly of all, it has uncovered a set of cycles that come from a mysterious source.

"Is the business cycle obsolete?" This often cited title of a book edited by Bronfenbren ner with the implicit affirmation of the question reflected the attitude of mainstream macroeconomics in the 1960s regarding the empirical relevance of cyclic motions of an economy. The successful income policies, theoretically grounded in Keynesian macroec onomics, seemed to have eased or even abolished the fluctuations in Western economies which motivated studies of many classical and neoclassical economists for more than 100 years. The reasoning behind the conviction that business cycles would increasingly be come irrelevant was rather simple: if an economy fluctuates for whatever reason, then it is almost always possible to neutralize these cyclic motions by means of anticyclic demand policies. From the 1950s until the mid-1960s business cycle theory had often been consid ered either as an appendix to growth theory or as an academic exercise in dynamical economics. The common business cycle models were essentially multiplier-accelerator models whose dependence on particular parameter values (in order to exhibit oscillatory motion) suggested a rather improbable occurrence of persistent fluctuations. The obvi ous success in compensating business cycles in those days prevented intensive concern with the occurrence of cycles. Rather, business cycle theory turned into stabilization theory which investigated theoretical possibilities of stabilizing a fluctuating economy. Many macroeconomic textbooks appeared in the 1960s which consequently identified business cycle theory with inquiries on the possibilities to stabilize economies by means of active fiscal or monetary policies.

Interest in business cycles has had its 'ups and downs'. After a period of almost steady state growth and of economic tranquility, when the business cycle seemed to be obsolete, the turbulence of the 70s and 80s has contributedto a renewed interest in the topic. Important analytical and methodological innovations have also favored the present abundance of contributions. Four innovations are of particular importance: i. microfoundations ii. nonlinearities iii. stochastic variables iv. real aspects. Both Classical macroeconomics and new-Keynesian approaches seem to share these characteristics, which apply both to endogenous and exogenous explanations of the cycle. The distance separating the newer literature from its forebears seems vast. Previously, cycle theory was characterized by a macro approach and utilized nonlinearities either through piecewise 'linear models or with the aid of Classical theorems in the field of dynamic systems. To consider and to compare the old and the new literature on business cycles is one of the goals of this book. To narrow the distance separating them is another goal of this research. We do not try to bridge it, but rather to revisit the former tradition with new tools. Finally, a particular emphasis is put on the 'ceilings and floors' type of literature. One of us has written a D. Phil. thesis with Sir John Hicks, and both have worked with H. P. Minsky. Hicks, along with Goodwin, introdu. ced the concept of ceilings and floors into business cycle analysis, and Minsky made important contributions to the area.
