When Will My People Be Free The Voices Of One Crying In The Wilderness

This book of poetic expressions broad in scope and focus is written out of my own life experiences, the struggles, trials, oppression, and devastation that my people suff er. We have suff ered at the hands of the world and have endured hardships, inequalities, and injustices like no other race of people, and we yet are not free!!!! This book is intended to be a platform for discussion and discovery. The author believes that this work is inspired by God himself with very little personal input. Its purpose is to give people of color a way to esteem themselves and that society may see the long term eff ects of inequality past and present. It is my hope that this work will serve as a bridge for open dialogue among people of all races. For when good people do nothing evil triumphs and prevails.

Storm clouds are on the horizon and are hovering over the Judeo-Christian community. Returning to God’s Word is our only hope for these troubled times. On the cusp of these changing times, a remnant is being identified and “called out” by the Holy Spirit to return to the foundational roots of Christianity. The First Century Church of Jesus’ Apostles was vastly different from the church of today. Their foundational strength was built upon the Rock of Jesus Christ and was founded upon the Biblical (Hebrew/Jewish) customs of Jesus Christ and His disciples. This book is a basic handbook—a “101 Primer”—for reconciliation and restoration. Its exposure to the rich Hebraic customs and traditions of Jesus’ day will bring a refreshing breath to traditional Christianity. It’s a call to return to “the faith once delivered to the saints,” to prepare for eternity in God’s city, the New Jerusalem.

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future. Then you will call upon me, and I will listen to you, you will seek me, with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:1113) Destiny in Empty Places is a book that is a result of every man and womans journey, a journey many lives follow every day, going through life just merely existing. The average life is lived trying to seek out and fulfill a purpose, looking for meaning and seeking an understanding of the broken pieces in their lives. The average life in humanity is also void for years and years without a single purpose. One never knows where his or her absolute destiny lies. We spend a lifetime fulfilling either our parents dreams or that which we think we should be. We have even convinced ourselves that our chosen purpose is clearly what we were created to be. If one would go beyond their past and look beyond their natural essence, back to their spiritual essence, one would then find purpose for his or her own life. This book, Destiny in Empty Places, challenges every traveler on the road of destiny. Your road to destiny is predetermined but not by you who travels it. This simply means that God has given you a destiny that is predetermined. Whether or not you will travel or find that road of destiny will be up to your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God, of who he is, and your purpose in destiny. According to statistical research, there are approximately 6,670,985,957 people in the world who live their lives from day to day without purpose, plan, or form. Purpose is the intent that is set up for us as an object or an end to attain; the intention at the end; a resolution, determination, the action in course of execution. People have arrived at a place in life where it looks like they are not accomplishing anything. Their lives are spent as if they are traveling in a circle. People are seeking out randomly, striving to fill the void in their lives, leaving them discouraged and vacillated into an empty place. This emptiness is only on the surface of the face of the deep. At your choice lies your destiny.

A man that would not let any denomination decide for him what to believe; Charles Fox Parham was drawn by God at a young age. He began to read God's Word with no preconceived knowledge of doctrines or creeds. He maintained that childlike faith into his adult years. In 1900, he helped open a Bible school with the only textbook being the Bible. There was also no tuition charged, and the only requirement was the desire to be obedient to Jesus Christ. On a January night in 1901, the school was gathered in an upper room. They were praying and seeking God with one accord, when suddenly, God poured out the Holy Spirit. The enemy every day wants to devour us or draw us away from God's will for us-His present and future children. The enemy wants to confuse, corrupt, and drag us into conflict to keep the believing Christians from carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20). The enemy's endgame being that we also end up in the pit prepared for him and his angels (Matthew 25:41), but God, the Great I am (Exodus 3:14), has a different future planned for the soldiers of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:3). There will be sacrifices and rewards for all enlisted, but first we must submit, listen, and obey before we go forward without reservations. Michael A. Daise identifies literary features found in six quotations in the Fourth Gospel, suggesting they should be revisited as clusters rather than as discrete units. Three quotations are the only ones whose introductory formulae explicitly ascribe them to Isaiah; three are the only ones cast as being 'remembered' by Jesus' disciples; and each of these groupings forms an inclusio within the Book of Signs which, when combined with the other, produces a chiasmus to Jesus' public ministry. Daise examines these clusters in three studies, addressing their exegetical issues and theological implications. After an introductory apologia for an historical-critical and theological approach, the first two studies distil narrative themes embedded in the Isaianic and 'remembrance' inclusios. The third study then reconstructs the synthesis of these themes created by the chiasmus, and translates its key elements into theological categories. Daise concludes that, while the Isaianic inclusio brings 'closure' to the Book of Signs -by disclosing the angelic cause of the Jews' unbelief - the 'remembrance' inclusio creates an anticipation of the Book of Glory - by casting Jesus as poised to establish a new dynasty with the casting out that angelic cause. Daise further argues that this broader storyline carries ramifications for an array of motifs in the Fourth Gospel's theological taxonomy: in particular its christology, soteriology, eschatology, ecclesiology and pneumatology.
