WHOLENESS AND FREEDOM THROUGH CHRIST to Henry This is a must-read book based on personal experience, studies and experienced from counseling others. If you have been or are currently going through oppressions, traumas, abuses and tragedies or you are suffering emotionally then this book is a tool that you need. Every human being is a tripartite, meaning we have three parts: spirit, soul, and body. The spirit gives life to the person; the soul is the emotion, will, intellect, imagination, etc. When people go through traumas, tragedies, abuses and so forth, it affects the soul, and the soul can fragment. The soul and spirit are invisible hence, no physician can heal someone who is grieving for the loss of a loved one. People grieve differently, depending on their emotional stability. Sometimes individuals may develop a form of disease or illness which may include heart disease, blood pressure, depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, among others caused by the trauma or abuse that they have gone through. Whenever they visit the physicians, they are treated from the surface level without going to the root cause that resulted in the soul or heart fragmentation. The human heart is related to the spirit. The spirit can break; that is not often as common as the soul. People can die instantly, whenever their heart breaks. This book teaches some of the causes of soul fragmentations, such as our own sins or the sins of others that may be passed on to us. Traumas can come in naturally or man-made like wars, etc. Some can be demonic oppression or possessions. This book teaches you how to become freed irrespective of the cause of the soul fragmentation, and how to maintain your freedom. Several Medical Experts have been recommending people suffering from depressions, stresses, etc. to change the way they think because the medications are not the best solutions. This book is an eyeopener filled with information vital to one's personal well-being.

In Heart Made Whole, Christa Black Gifford shares her own stories of loss, betrayal, and personal tragedy, chronicling clear steps to redemption to help those in pain invite the true Healer into the tangled mess of their broken hearts. Gifford reminds readers that pain is not their enemy, however, unhealed pain can become their greatest foe if it's not taken to Jesus. Growing up as a preacher's kid, Gifford had been submerged in Christian culture for decades when she uncovered the truth--that there were broken parts of her heart that weren't on friendly terms with the God who lived inside. Through disappointments and traumas, she had learned to guard her heart from God, keeping her angry, entrapped, and disconnected. As struggles and hardships continued, she finally learned to run towards her relationship with God when things got hard, instead of running away from Him like she had in the past. The more that she did this--building her heart's capacity for intimacy and deep relationship--the more her heart began to heal from the inside-out. She teaches the reader to access the solution that's already living inside of them--the God who forever made their heart a home. When trials and tragedy hit our lives in a fallen world, our hearts can get smashed to bits, and we end up putting God on trial and blaming Him for the mess. But Christa helps readers understand that they don't have to live controlled by their circumstances--or angry with God. Instead, she provides powerful insight and practical steps to turn the painful fire that comes to destroy us into an unexpected friend that can produce our greatest healing. The condition of the heart determines the condition of life--and the heart can be bound up and healed, producing freedom and abundant life. With personal workbook sections for each chapter Christa helps readers experience steps to turn their pain into the healing and wholeness available to every believer.

Wholeness will elevate your sense of fulfillment in life, produce healthier, more rewarding relationships, and will position you for optimum success in every endeavor. In the Jewish tradition, going back to Jacob, many fathers have written down whatever wisdom they might have attained in their lives in order to pass along that wisdom to their heirs. It is called an ethical will. Written as a testimony and a testament, in an epistolary format, this book is a compendium of the wisdom of a father, who has spent a lifetime studying the teachings of the Jewish tradition, as well as literary and philosophical traditions of the West. The insights taken from those traditions, which explore the life of the soul, are intended for anyone who has a soul. The book is organized around eighteen words that form the foundations of human life. The number eighteen is taken from the Hebrew word for "life," chai, which has a numerical value of eighteen. Among the words at the heart of these reflections are faith, goodness, responsibility, meaning, gratitude, prayer, love, and others.
