One priestess, four guardians, a prince in hiding and a winged cat. Two worlds in peril. Over 200,000 words of reverse harem epic fantasy in a complete series box set! My world isn't safe. The northern gate lies open and monsters roam the land. Towns are locked behind walls, protected by the emperor and his Black Army. Once, a fated priestess and her four guardians kept the gate sealed with magic, but there hasn't been a priestess in over a century...or so I thought. When a monster attacks me within the walls of my village, I am saved by Sir Forrest--the quiet former soldier who came to Istim three years ago. Turns out, he's been watching me. Waiting for my powers to awaken. I am the fated priestess. But there have been others. The genius commander Abel and the Black Army have killed them all. Sir Forrest found out the truth, and now he is driven by his sacred mission to help me find my guardians and bring me to the gate. All I have to do? Find them and join with them in the Grand Quintet to grant them the powers I apparently hold, close the gate, and save the world...without suffering the same dire fate as the priestesses who came before me. I've always liked attention...but this is too much. Contains: Book One: Priestess Awakened Book Two: Priestess Bound Book Three: Priestess Unleashed

This study analyzes the feasibility of guerrilla warfare as the basis for a strategy of airpower employment for a weak air force confronting an opponent with a stronger air force. The analysis begins with a distillation of the theory of guerrilla warfare into five elements essential to its success: superior intelligence, security, mobility advantage, surprise, and sustainment. The author then compares the ground combat environment of the traditional guerrilla with the airpower environment of the potential air guerrilla and concludes that these five elements can be met in the airpower environment provided the weak force has sufficient ingenuity and the necessary resources. An investigation of recent trends in technology and the prevailing strategic environment indicates that it increasingly possible for a weak force to obtain these resources. The author assesses that air guerrilla warfare is a viable warfighting strategy, but points out that the likelihood of a weak force actually adopting air guerrilla warfare will depend on its regional security needs and its resolve to protract a conflict. The study concludes that air guerrilla warfare is a credible threat to a stronger opponent. To meet this threat, the author recommends that the United States re-examine its intervention strategy, reinforce its policy of strategic engagement, and research both airpower and non-airpower means to neutralize an elusive guerrilla air force.

Eye-witnesses have testified that various terrifying and bizarre forms have appeared in the skies, from ghostly planes, phantom airships and UFOs, to reports of sky serpents, celestial dragons, flying jellyfish, rains of fish (or blood, or metal, or frogs...) – even reports of a griffin seen over London! It also considers reports of haunted aircraft hangars and airfields. Shadows in the Sky compiles hundreds of accounts from the spine-chilling to the downright bizarre, that'll keep your eyes fixed looking upwards!

From political intrigue in Washington to an idyllic island in the Pacific based on a true incident in Samoa, 1889 Stockton Livingstone is one of President Grover Cleveland's most trusted advisors and a mainstay of the State Department until his wife dies tragically and he takes a leave of absence to be with his family. But as tensions escalate between the three great powers---England, Germany, and America---over a coaling station on the tiny island of Samoa, the President asks Stockton to return to his duties and accept the post of Ambassador to Samoa. He reluctantly agrees, on the condition that he may take his six children with him. When the Livingstones arrive in Samoa, they find that German forces have effectively set up a puppet regime, using a disgruntled Samoan chief as the figurehead ruler. As tensions between the mighty warships gathered in Apia Bay continue to heighten, Stockton must face the fact that his nation is on the brink of war. But all of the players in this drama suddenly must do battle against a foe mightier than any warship: the great Samoan hurricane of 1889. Will this war prove to be their last?
