Complete listing of ACL (Applied Color Label) soda pop bottles and brands starting with "B" from the United States, Canada and Mexico (over 1900 bottles.) Listing includes detailed full-color photographs of front and back of every known ACL bottle from the three countries. Contains nearly 3000 color images. Included are details on glass maker, date and other relevant data such as origin company, city and state. A must for any soda bottle collector, those interested in the soft drink industry or general Americana. Returnable ACL soda bottles were produced from 1934 through the late 1980's when, for the most part, they were replaced by cans, non-returnable glass bottles, and disposable plastic containers. This is the first known attempt to document ACL bottles on a large scale (nation-wide) basis. Additional information includes city-by-city roster for each major national brand or franchise. With over 25,000 unique ACL soda bottles (just from the U.S. alone) this will be massive undertaking of which this is the second volume.
