Porter, is an educator, minister, father, leader, composer, author, poet, Agent of Success, Engineer of Progress, and Prophet of Love. He taught mathematics at the university, founded the Westcoast School for Human Development (grades K-12), and has travelled Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. He was a delegate to the 1987 Young Leaders Conference in Singapore, sponsored by the The Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization. In 1992 and 2004, he had audiences with the Pope Giovannni Pauolo II at Prefettura Dei La Casa Pontificia, Rome, Italy. He is listed in Broadcasters' Hall of Fame, Sarasota Hall of Fame, Florida Governor's Point of Light. The City of Sarasota dedicated a block of 4th Street, downtown, to Dr. Henry L. Porter. Today we often look to our leaders in business, government, or the social sector, to make effective decisions in a complex world.
