Intersections of supply and de mand curves in the accompanying figures show the volumes and prices experienced in the reference year and expected in the future. Export volumes from Alaska are expected to increase about 70 million board feet per year by 1995 because of higher prices; this will be followed by a decline to a level about 40 million board feet above 1987.
