Alfie Gives A Hand

Alfie is delighted to be invited to Bernard's birthday party, but he feels a bit nervous about going on his own.

Alfie is not quite sure how the birthday party he's been invited to is going to turn out, and wishes his mother could be there. In the end, he has a marvellous time, but not quite in the way he anticipated.

When Alfie rushes home first from a shopping trip and accidentally locks himself inside, the whole neighbourhood becomes involved in finding a way to get the door open.
