Algorithms And Architectures For Parallel Processing Proceedings Of The 1997 3rd International Conference

The IEEE Third International Conference on Algorithms and Architectures for Parallel Processing (ICA3PP-97) will be held in Melbourne, Australia from December 8th to 12th, 1997. The purpose of this important conference is to bring together developers and researchers from universities, industry and government to advance science and technology in distributed and parallel systems and processing.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 15th Australian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, AI 2002, held in Canberra, Australia in December 2002. The 62 revised full papers and 12 posters presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 117 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on natural language and information retrieval, knowledge representation and reasoning, deduction, learning theory, agents, intelligent systems. Bayesian reasoning and classification, evolutionary algorithms, neural networks, reinforcement learning, constraints and scheduling, neural network applications, satisfiability reasoning, machine learning applications, fuzzy reasoning, and case-based reasoning.

This two volume set LNCS 7016 and LNCS 7017 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Algorithms and Architectures for Parallel Processing, ICA3PP 2011, held in Melbourne, Australia, in October 2011. The second volume includes 37 papers from one symposium and three workshops held together with ICA3PP 2011 main conference. These are 16 papers from the 2011 International Symposium on Advances of Distributed Computing and Networking (ADCN 2011), 10 papers of the 4th IEEE International Workshop on Internet and Distributed Computing Systems (IDCS 2011), 7 papers belonging to the III International Workshop on Multicore and Multithreaded Architectures and Algorithms (M2A2 2011), as well as 4 papers of the 1st IEEE International Workshop on Parallel Architectures for Bioinformatics Systems (HardBio 2011).

ICA3PP 2000 was an important conference that brought together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and governments to advance the knowledge of parallel and distributed computing. The proceedings constitute a well-defined set of innovative research papers in two broad areas of parallel and distributed computing: (1) architectures, algorithms and networks; (2) systems and applications.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th International Conference on High Performance Computing, HiPC 2000, held in Bangalore, India in December 2000. The 46 revised papers presented together with five invited contributions were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 127 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on system software, algorithms, high-performance middleware, applications, cluster computing, architecture, applied parallel processing, networks, wireless and mobile communication systems, and large scale data mining.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third International Euro-Par Conference, held in Passau, Germany, in August 1997. The 178 revised papers presented were selected from more than 300 submissions on the basis of 1101 reviews. The papers are organized in accordance with the conference workshop structure in tracks on support tools and environments, routing and communication, automatic parallelization, parallel and distributed algorithms, programming languages, programming models and methods, numerical algorithms, parallel architectures, HPC applications, scheduling and load balancing, performance evaluation, instruction-level parallelism, database systems, symbolic computation, real-time systems, and an ESPRIT workshop.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 12th International Conference on Parallel Computing, Euro-Par 2006. The book presents 110 carefully reviewed, revised papers. Topics include support tools and environments; performance prediction and evaluation; scheduling and load balancing; compilers for high performance; parallel and distributed databases, data mining and knowledge discovery; grid and cluster computing: models, middleware and architectures; parallel computer architecure and instruction-level parallelism; distributed systems and algorithms, and more.

The two volume set LNCS 7439 and 7440 comprises the proceedings of the 12th International Conference on Algorithms and Architectures for Parallel Processing, ICA3PP 2012, as well as some workshop papers of the CDCN 2012 workshop which was held in conjunction with this conference. The 40 regular paper and 26 short papers included in these proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from 156 submissions. The CDCN workshop attracted a total of 19 original submissions, 8 of which are included in part II of these proceedings. The papers cover many dimensions of parallel algorithms and architectures, encompassing fundamental theoretical approaches, practical experimental results, and commercial components and systems.
