An Epistemology On Existentialism

Have you ever stood amongst the ever evolving population and wonder how our influences of the world take on the reality we construct and perceive? What is a taught perceptionist? What are laws of identity? What are social roles? Is there such thing as economic irrelevance when everyone is supported by a working government? If all people are equal, how come classism and status reign supreme? Is morality just another way to conventionalize the masses into psychological cages of guilt and self-loathing? What is semantic values worth in a world that functions under supernatural standards? Can we ever achieve humanitarian goals as political fervor saturates systems of education with rhetorical prigs? This book will concisely describe how religious canon fundamentally colonized its application as a 'divine-embodiment' characterizing many displays of the supposedly 'human-condition enterprise' as many vital aspects unfold metaphorical paradoxes in each recycled tradition and contrived paradigms while this cultural ideology enforces amalgamation unto the world of indirect totalitarianism. If humanity is autonomous in nature, and rationality develops into precocious inquisitiveness, does not uniformity inhibit individual growth by imposing as antithesis over the impetuous of self-introspecting evolution on our own terms? Do we have an identity of our own, and if so, is it 'perceived or received' as to how you and I become or just exists in a vast experiment we call 'the grouping of social-rolls' and a 'contextualization of relative thought in society's grand schematization? This Epistemology on interpretive Existentialism approaches an exciting and formidable outlook on the 'scope and reliability' of human knowledge and human advancement of the indiviual in a 16 chapter philosophical odyssey into the unknown wholeof humanistic freedom.

This study introduces the existential phenomenology of Martin Heidegger, and shows how Heidegger's ideas bear on the central problem of epistemology - how we are able to have objective knowledge.

Existential questions are deep and profound, philosophical questions that concern our very existence, such as “How did we get here”? “What is the meaning and purpose of my life’? “Is there a God”? and “What happens to me when I die”? Humans have been asking these questions for as long as we have been able to think and reason, and each possible answer spawns a host of additional questions. Existential questions are perhaps ultimately unanswerable, but we must accept the challenge and try, and must entertain the possibility that they may be. The author looks to science and philosophy for answers to such questions. Both modes of thought seek knowledge in their own manner, but philosophers must develop a greater tolerance for ambiguity than scientists because they ask many questions that are only partially amenable, or not at all, to empirical testing, and for which there are no universally agreed upon answers. Philosophy thus ventures into areas that science cannot or will not go. Scientists and philosophers work with different goals and are judged by different standards, although they both share the tools of logic, conceptual analysis, and rigorous argumentation. Questions for which we can acquire definite answers though mathematics and experimentation are the realm of science; questions for which we have no definite answers are the grist for the philosopher’s mill. It is this intellectual uncertainty in which the value of philosophy resides because it engages a liberating doubt.

This book tries to explore, in language as non-technical as possible, the deepest philosophical problems regarding the logical status of empty (singular) terms such as `Pegasus', `Batman', `The impossible staircase departs in Escher's painting `Ascending-Descending'+ etc., and regarding sentences which deny the existence of singled-out fictional entities. It will be fascinating for literary theorists with a flair for logic, to students of metaphysics and philosophy of language, and for historians of philosophy interested in the fate of the Russell-Meinong debate. For teachers of these aspects of analytic philosophy this will provide a textbook which goes beyond the Western tradition (without plunging into any mystical Eastern `Emptiness', which is what some previous comparative philosophers did!).
