When Rachel Gardner wakes up in the basement of an unfamiliar building, she finds herself face-to-face with Zack, a serial killer wrapped from head to toe in bandages. Narrowly escaping his bloody scythe, she makes it to the next floor, where she meets a man named Danny who claims to be her doctor. Rachel breathes a sigh of relief, but she can't help noticing that Danny's got a strange look in his eyes...

As a prison counselor, Daniel Dickens is no stranger to odd encounters with inmates. But when a particularly aggressive prisoner enters his office claiming that his session with a priest left him "fulfilled," Danny, who has led an unsatisfying life, has to know more. During their meeting, Danny finds there's little he can hide from this mysterious clergyman, and when an offer comes his way, he'll have to make a decision that will change his life forever...

Ray and Zack have arrived at Floor B3, home to the mad prison guard Cathy and her brand of "punishment". Driven into a corner by her many sadistic traps, will Ray and Zack be able to keep their promise to each other...!?

As amnesiac Ray and cutthroat killer Zack try to break out of the basement, they finally arrive at the graveyard that is Floor B4. There, a boy who's become quite taken with Ray has been lying in wait...

Determined to expose the weakness in the vow binding Zack and Ray together, prison guard Cathy declares it's time for the two to bid each other farewell. To that end, she continues inflicting punishments upon the pair, who find a treacherous path laid out before them. Things only get worse when, after a dose of Cathy's special "medicine," Zack's urge to kill runs rampant, and he brings his scythe to Ray's throat...!

As the building begins to collapse around them, Ray and Zack face their final trial together. The stage is set for their great escape, and with it, the time to fulfill the vow they made to each other has come. Still, one last obstacle lies in their path...

At long last, Cathy faces Zack and Ray in the execution room! Cathy hands Ray a pistol, trying to get her to turn on Zack, but will her plan backfire? One way or another, the Floor B3 saga comes to a close in Volume 5 of Angels of Death!

Zack and Ray have finally arrived on the first floor of the basement, but Ray has a meltdown, losing consciousness before they can even make it through the first room. Seeking to separate the two, Danny appears before Zack with a question: "Why don't you learn everything about her?" Meanwhile, the past Rachel's been desperately trying to hide is about to come out...
