Dark and evil forces are working hard in the background to end the days when humanity rules the world. Demons crave to make mankind a meal, dark mages want to destroy the mage-hood that has been hunting them down for years, and ambitious unholy priests seek to supplement the holy god for an evil unholy one. They all get their chance when a rare double lunar eclipse covers the two moons and casts the lands of men into eerie darkness. Unbeknownst to the priests and mages, it also allows for the darkest of magic to be cast. The dark forces attempt to take advantage and cast evil magic that could bring the dead back to aid them. Racing against time and unholy creatures are a lone priest out of his depth, a couple of mages with young apprentices struggling to survive the dark mage attack, and a strange barbaric warrior who has been trying to die but now he has a reason to live. Together they have to try to convince people of the horrors coming their way and end the threat against their world.

Consequences of a Moonless Night deepens its native primitivism through humor, surrealism, and soul-searching lyricism. These poems take the reader on a journey where a grandmother “walks with the Beast of the Apocalypse on a leash” into visions of grief, eroticism, and an indelibly reflective reticence that continues to unfold with each reading. “Indeed, these poems sing with a language born of experience, a life closely examined and fully lived.”—Richard Foerster, Final Judge Message In A Bottle A green bottle washes up on a beach. It is very old. It is not glass but something the sea has made by erasure. The message inside is written in blackberry juice. No one knows how to translate its language except by the cardio-bleats that tremored in the hand that wrote it, the hand bent by the curve of the horizon, calculating a rescue, a possible escape.

He survived the Bataan Death March; imprisonment at Camp O'Donnell, where the death rate exceded 400 a day; a jungle work detail on Tayabas Isthmus; the starvation diet of Manila's Bilibid Prison; a 17 day voyage to Japan on a Hell Ship; and a Japanese POW camp bombed by American planes.

Summary Ishmael's Apocalypse Ishmael's Apocalypse is a mystery thriller with intriguing true-to-life terrorism that can happen at any moment in any nation on earth. The story unfolds within an odyssey of world events, during a timeline the author calls 'his last seven days of grace'. This period begins seven days prior to the Jewish New Year in the Hebrew Calendar year of 5777. The mystery 'who is Ishmael' is archetypal, connecting the main characters with secret twists and uncertain turns, pulsing through the storyline. Its action packed scenes engage modern military weapons in authentic places. Unlike typical action novels, this plot incorporates the spiritual nature of people and the significant influence that world religions play on the governing of sovereign nations. The themes of national pride and moral values are succinctly questioned. Each apocalyptical scene moves your mind, body and soul into a future realm of terror on a grand scale. Even so, the magnitude of events will not overshadow the value of one human life. Author's Biography Lloyd R. Little Lloyd Little is the third of nine Irish Catholic children. He was born to Laura and Joseph Little in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Catholic grade school in suburban Pennsylvania. At the age of ten, his parents moved to the New Jersey countryside. Lloyd has three college degrees. They include a Master of Arts Degree in education from Glassboro State College, recently renamed Rowan University. He taught in the public schools for eight years and coached numerous sports. During this time, he relocated to the Jersey Shore, opening a small business with his wife Joyce. Ishmael's Apocalypse is a reflection of the faith he received during his Catholic school years and pursued during his adult life. The End Time interpretations in this story incorporate teachings found throughout many world religions.

This “fast-moving” southern American dystopian novel is “full of twists and turns” and “perhaps an insightful vision of the second Texas republic” (W. Michael Gear, New York Times–bestselling author of Dissolution). In this near-future, post-apocalyptic novel, retired lawyer-turned-professor Willoughby Burns finds himself trying to survive against hunger and deadly threats in southern Louisiana. The Dixie Apocalypse takes place in an America ravaged by natural disasters, lack of petroleum, plagues, and terrorism. What is left of the United States is controlled by martial law. Life itself becomes primitive and favors those who can grow their own food or handle firearms. Will befriends US General Merski stationed in Baton Rouge, LA, and founds a farming community of fifty farms on the eastern bank of the Mississippi river due south of downtown Baton Rouge. General Merski enlists Will as a civilian commissary officer, in charge of carrying out errands for his troops without arousing suspicion. When the general sends Will down to Texas on to bring back supplies for his garrison, Will’s survivals skills are put to the ultimate test.
