This volume represents the editorial outcome of the 14th edition of ArcheoFOSS international conference, which took place online between 15-17 October 2020. The event has been held annually since 2006 and is dedicated to the theoretical framework and actual application of free and open source software solutions and the promotion and encouragement of the Open Data paradigm for archaeology and, more generally, for Cultural Heritage. This volume well represents the approach taken at the conference and the extensive participation it received, with eighteen high-level and peer reviewed papers, well distributed in two thematic sections-application cases and development, and open data-contributed by more than forty Italian and foreign scholars, researchers and freelance archaeologists working in the field of Cultural Heritage.

From Prediction to Postdiction” della settima edizione della Landscape Archaeology Conference (Iași, Romania 10-15 September 2022).

The scope of this book is not limited to Greek and Latin epigraphy; it provides an overview of projects related to all epigraphic inquiry and its related communities. Traditional archaeological excavation methods are sometimes daunting due to political or financial complications. Other times, an improperly planned dig can destroy or entirely overlook the features or artifacts being sought. In either case, Ground-Penetrating Radar, or GPR, is an increasingly applicable technology, but one that few archaeologists truly understand. That is where this book excels. It is tailored towards an archaeological community which is for the most part apprehensive about using "high tech" instruments and feel more comfortable on their hands and knees digging in the dirt. Its abundant illustrations and easy-to-understand tables help to keep this potentially daunting subject matter accessible. It also contains more complex equations and theory so that the more technically-oriented can use it as a reference tool.

ArcheoLogica Data wants to reach an Italian and international audience of scholars, professionals, students, and, more generally, early-career archaeologists, and it accepts contributions written both in Italian and English. ArcheoLogica Data proposes to indissolubly associate data and interpretation. It embraces that global idea of archaeological data that integrates all the discipline declinations without any thematic or chronological constraints. Data is at the centre, and around lies everything that can stem from it: interpretations, hypotheses, reconstructions, applications, theoretical and methodological reflections, critical ideas, constructive discussions.
