The longest paper in this collection shows how the intermediate spin state in iron(III) porphyrin complexes can be increased in six coordinate mixed systems and in the cytochrome c' model where only one imidazole molecule coordinates to the iron(III) ion. Other topics of the ten papers include optimizing the photoreactivity of chemical compounds, multiple-bonded and aromatic organotin compounds, ligand effects on 3-membered hydrocopper rings, and magnetostructural D-correlation for zero field splitting in nickel(II) complexes. No paper selection process or peer review is noted.
