When Tim Drexler concluded his government investigation of the UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico, in 1998, he carried within him classified information he was duty-bound to keep secret. He had received a message from extraterrestrial people of a far advanced civilization, which if made known would reveal a sinister agenda being developed here on Earth. The message included vital information concerning an impending transition that would place American democracy under the control of a one-world government. The shadow government operates an insidious transformation process that is almost impossible to identify. Two witnesses to Tim’s interview with the ETs were murdered in order to keep the message from becoming known. When Tim decides to reveal the message publically, the Hollywood faction applies pressure to prevent the established news organizations from reporting it. A diligent FBI agent and a CIA operative work together tenaciously to solve the murders, and also to keep Drexler from becoming a third victim.

Since the late 1980s the theme of God's self-revelation has been treated only briefly in Christian theology, at times simply ignored, and often confused with biblical inspiration. Revelation: Towards a Christian Theology of God's Self-Revelation lays out its basic characteristics, and beginsby distinguishing between revelation in the primary sense (a living encounter with God's self-disclosure) and in the secondary sense (statements of faith derived from that encounter, or "propositional" revelation). It considers revelation as transforming and informing, as being "sacramental" ormediated through words and deeds, as communicated through an endless variety of means and mediators, as related to but distinct from biblical inspiration and truth, and as reaching those of "other" faiths or of no faith at all.Gerald O'Collins skilfully distinguishes between past (or "foundational") revelation, present (or "dependent") revelation, and future (or "eschatological") revelation. He expounds with ecumenical sensitivity the complex relationship between tradition and scripture. O'Collins moves into controversialareas by insisting that the divine self- revelation takes place only when received by human faith and that "outside revelation there is no salvation (extra revelationem nulla salus)". This volume offers a coherent account of God's self-revelation, which can serve as a basis for all that follows intheology and for dialogue with those who follow "other" living faiths or none at all. O'Collins extends and enriches what he has proposed in earlier books and articles about the characteristics of God's self-revelation.

Science and technology have profoundly altered the cosmic and societal perceptions of the world. Regrettably, the Christian imagination has not kept pace. Most believers still adhere to pre-scientific views. Cosmos and Revelation urges the Christian community to reimagine God’s creation by engaging the data of science. For if God has indeed brought forth an intelligible world for us to explore through scientific research, those who profess this faith ought to, as a minimum, allow scientific findings to expand their theological horizon. Drawing on his scientific qualification and academic background in theology, Peter R. Stork opens several windows on God’s creation, from galactic star nurseries to the wonderland of living cells. After rereading Genesis 1 and 2, the author interlaces examples and reflections to present a coherent yet provocative sketch of the new landscape that spreads out before us, leaving it to his readers to intuit for themselves the immensities Christians are challenged to embrace in the age of science.
