Costume Design and Illustration is a brief and accessible work. The images presented within the book are useful and effectively illuminate the text. While this book would be most useful for those with some experience in costume design and illustration, it can also serve as a worthy introduction to the topic. At less than 200 pages, it can be read in a day, but would probably be best served by slowly digesting the techniques presented within and spending ample time practicing.
