Current Trends In Web Engineering

This volume constitutes the papers of several workshops which were held in conjunction with the International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2023, held in Alicante, Spain, in June 6–9, 2023. The 10 revised full papers and 2 short papers presented in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 23 submissions. They stem from the following workshops: Third International Workshop on Big Data Driven Edge Cloud Services (BECS 2023) Second International Workshop on the Semantic Web of Everything (SWEET 2023) Second International Workshop on Web Applications for Life Sciences (WALS2023)

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the workshops held at the 10th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2010, in Vienna, Austria, in July 2010. The 60 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from over 100 submissions made to 9 international workshops and held in cooperation with the ICWE 2010 main conference. Those 9 workshops were selected from 16 proposals and encompassed: MDWE 2010, the 6th model-driven Web engineering workshop; QWE 2010, the first international workshop on quality in Web engineering; SWIM 2010, the second international workshop on semantic Web information management; SWEng 2010, the first international workshop on service Web engineering; ESW 2010, the first workshop on engineering soa and the Web; ComposableWeb 2010, the second international workshop on lightweight composition on the Web; EC 2010, the first international workshop on enterprise crowdsourcing; TouchTheWeb 2010, the first international workshop on Web-enabled objects; and WEBTOUR 2010, the first international workshop on Web engineering and tourism.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the workshops held at the 11th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2011, in Paphos, Cyprus, in June 2011. The 42 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions . The papers are organized in sections on the Third International Workshop on Lightweight Composition on the Web (ComposableWeb 2011); First International Workshop on Search, Exploration and Navigation of Web Data Sources (ExploreWeb 2011); Second International Workshop on Enterprise Crowdsourcing (EC 2011); Seventh Model-Driven Web Engineering Workshop (MDWE 2011); Second International Workshop on Quality in Web Engineering (QWE 2011); Second Workshop on the Web and Requirements Engineering (WeRE 2011); as well as the Doctoral Symposium2011, and the ICWE 2011 Tutorials.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings and the doctoral symposium of the 12th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2012, held in Berlin, Germany, in July 2012. The volume contains four workshops and a doctoral consortium, each focusing on specific research issues that contribute to the main themes of the ICWE conference: MDWE 2012: Eighth International Workshop on Model-Driven and Agile Engineering for the Web, ComposableWeb 2012: Fourth International Workshop on Lightweight Integration on the Web, WeRE 2012: Third Workshop on the Web and Requirements Engineering, QWE 2012: Third International Workshop on Quality in Web Engineering.

This book constitutes the refereed thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2018, held in Cáceres, Spain, in June 2018. The 18 revised full papers were selected from 40 submissions. The workshops complement the main conference and explore new trends on core topics of Web engineering and provide an open discussion space combining solid theory work with practical on-the-field experience. This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the seven workshops and the PhD Symposium that were co-located with the 13th International Conference on Web Engineering, ICWE 2013, held in Aalborg, Denmark, in July 2013. The papers cover research in topics such as social data management; cloud service engineering; agile web development and quality management in web engineering.
