Excerpt from List of Subject Headings for Use in Dictionary Catalogues of Children's BooksIn cataloguing the collection of juvenile books in the Cleveland Public Library, the need was felt of some guide in the choice of subject headings to be used. The following list has been made to meet that need. This list is not complete, as biographical and geographical head ings and specific names of animals, etc. Have been omitted from the list but have been used in the catalogue.Using the A. L. A.
