If living with a deep awareness of God in our lives is important, how do we do it without moving to a monastery? How do we discern and respond to God amidst the places, routines, and relationships of our everyday lives? In this book, we go in search of God's presence in homes and neighborhoods, supermarkets and sporting arenas, workplaces and weekends. Along the way we look for practices that can lead us more deeply into the way of Jesus: activities like cooking and laundry, walking and sleeping, shopping and conversation with friends. Throughout, we want to better understand how to make God a central part of our lives, and to hear Jesus' call to "follow me" more clearly in the world around us.

Jeremiah 29:13 King James Version You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. When God started tugging at my heart to write, my initial thought was, "I sing, not write." Still, I didn't know where to go with this writing. I felt called to do it though, so I started an anonymous blog, and I wrote. I wrote about funny moments in my life, sad moments, and really hard moments. The blogs became my release and God dropped truths into my heart as I took the time to sit down and follow that call. I really believed that was as far as this would go. Flash forward several years and all of a sudden I clearly heard God say, "Go"! As if out of the blue. I had no idea where I was going or what I was doing, but I went. I went straight to those old blogs and started pulling out what I thought would be some form of book. Within a few days I had landed in a 14-day Devotional surrounding everyday moments in life and finding God in those moments. I contacted publishers and by the end of the week we were deciding on a book cover! Our God is so good all the time ya'll! We can trust him even when we don't feel qualified, thought we were only called to sing, and even when we don't know where we are going, because God already knows his plan and it is good. Just "GO"! I pray you enjoy Finding God In The Everyday Moments with me and this devotional born from my everyday struggles in this life and God showing up for every one of them! May God Bless You!

You’ve probably started a devotional or kept a journal at various points in life. Sometimes it’s the start of a new year, a response to boredom, an attempt at self-care, or just a time of change in need of documentation or guidance. In Everyday Epiphany, author Emily Hill offers a devotional study that allows you to move at your own pace and read on whatever days and seasons work for you. This study isn’t about checking off days on a calendar or reaching a set goal. It focuses on developing a deeper understanding of His word and discovering God in the world around you, the everyday world you walk through and participate in daily. It’s about asking questions and recognizing God’s voice when He responds. It’s about learning who He is and connecting with Him beyond the church building. Everyday Epiphany encourages you to take a step back and discover who God is and what He has been up to in your life.
