Dusky Nightshade And The Little Heathens

"Dusky Nightshade" is her alias. Her real identity remains a secret. She is eleven years old and on a mission to enlighten the world. This is the true story (more or less) of the founding of the Little Heathens' Underground Tract Society and Free Press.

This volume includes the complete text of all twelve issues (fascicles) of Opuscule, the little philosophical journal published from a treehouse by the Little Heathens' Underground Tract Society and Free Press under the leadership of 11-year-old Dusky Nightshade. Themes include Reason, Interpersonal Relationships, Religion, Enlightenment, Children and Family, Fulfillment, Nature, Ideals, Authority, Social Issues, Moral Philosophy, and Miracles and Magic. The fascicles are not detachable, as in the earlier more-expensive edition of this book.

This is the personal and career scrapbook of Native American author Trudy Silverheels, AKA Linda Yazzie, who was also a nude model, as well as a photographer and artist herself. This stunningly beautiful collection of visual mementos includes dozens of full color reproductions of Trudy's artwork and professional photography, sexy selfies, sketches and drawings, book covers, illustrations, and snapshots. There are also a few brief literary excerpts, but this is primarily a picture book. There is at least one image on every page.

Trudy Silverheels, Native American author of the novels Dusky Nightshade and the Little Heathens, Nuevo Biloxi, and The Chosen Profession of Jade Stonecalf, gave the world her own fascinating history in Baring All. My Sister Bootsy might well be considered a sequel or companion volume to that autobiographical work, for herein Trudy's closest confidant, her elder sibling, continues her story, covering the eventful two years that followed publication of Baring All and then filling in further details from Trudy's childhood and early career.
