Ecdg 2018 18th European Conference On Digital Government

The European Conference on e-Government has been running now for 18 years. This event has been held in Italy, Ireland, Belgium, UK, Slovenia, to mention a few of the countries who have hosted it. This year we are refocusing the conference to look more broadly at the area of Digital Government. The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 40 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, public sector workers and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of Digital Government research and application.

These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 18th European Conference on Digital Government (ECDG 2018), hosted this year by University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain on 25-26 October 2018. The Conference Chair is Prof. Dr. Ramon Bouzas-Lorenzo and the Programme Chair are is Prof. Dr. Andres Cernadas Ramos. ECDG is a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now in its 18th year the key aim remains the opportunity for participants to share ideas and meet the people who hold them. The scope of papers will ensure an interesting two days. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research. The opening keynote presentation is given by Francisco Lupianez, of the Open University of Catalonia, who will speak about "Benchmarking ICT for Health in Europe: Lessons Learnt from Ten Years of Experience". The second day of the conference will start with an address by Jorge Prado, from the Galician Regional Government, Spain discussing "Deployment of eHealth in a Healthcare Service." With an initial submission of 90 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 32 Academic research papers, 2 PhD research papers, 3 work-in-progress papers and 2 Non-academic papers published in these Conference Proceedings. These papers represent research from Azerbaijan, Belgium, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, and USA.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 11th IFIP WG 8.5 International Conference on Electronic Participation, ePart 2019, held in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy, in September 2019, in conjunction with the 18th IFIP WG 8.5 IFIP International Conference on Electronic Government (EGOV 2019) and the International Conference for E-Democracy and Open Government Conference (CeDEM 2019). The 13 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 26 submissions. The papers are clustered under the following topical sections: eParticipation Developments; Digital Transformations; Crisis and Emergency Management; and User Perspectives.

As an application of information technology (IT), e-government is used for delivery in government for services and information exchange between the government and the public. This electronic service delivery is an important innovation to society; however, it also attracts hackers and cyberattacks. It is essential to provide fast protection application software and structure. Cybersecurity Measures for E-Government Frameworks provides security techniques and measures to e-governance applications. It further discusses emerging technologies in the cybersecurity field as well as the specific uses they have to e-government technologies. Covering topics such as cyberattack detection, deep learning, and preventive approaches, this book is an essential resource for government officials, security professionals, students and educators of higher education, IT professionals, researchers, and academicians.

This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Digital Transformation and Global Society, DTGS 2019, held in St. Petersburg, Russia, in June 2019. The 56 revised full papers and 9 short papers presented in the volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 194 submissions. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th Conference on Electronic Governance and Open Society: Challenges in Eurasia, EGOSE 2021, held in St. Petersburg, Russia, in November 2021. The 21 full papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 69 submissions, additionally one invited paper has been included in this volume. The papers are organized in topical sections on ​digital technology and design; digital Society; digital government and economy.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Electronic Government and the Information Systems Perspective, EGOVIS 2020, held in Bratislava, Slovakia, in September 2020. The 15 full and one short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 24 submissions.
