Previous Eisenhower biographers have touched on his heart condition, but Clarence Lasby is the first to examine the impact of the president's health on the nation. At 51 I had a heart attack, just like a lot of other hi-tech people. I went to hospital rehab. I bought a bicycle and started riding. I even attended one of those seminars to learn how to rearrange my priorities in life a little better which would help me manage my stress better.
