GRACE: a small, one syllable, five letter word. In the English language grace can be defined and spoken to bring about a variety of implications. Grace is commonly used as a title when addressing a duke, a duchess or an archbishop. Witnessing a well-mannered, light-footed, dignified lady effortlessly promenading across a ballroom floor could be characterized as grace. The thankfulness that we pray to God before each meal for His abundant provision is often referred to as grace. In music, playing the piano for instance, there is what is called a grace note, a note where the finger just grazes the key before the real note is played. A person promotes grace when they show kindness, courtesy or leniency to others. But there is one grace that is chief of all grace, the grace of the One True God. It is a grace with no boundaries, no requirements, totally unmerited, freely given, others-centered; a love-filled forgiveness that neither demands nor expects anything in return. As our earth's population grows and people and cultures meld together, the word grace seems to be fading from our vocabulary, and sadly, is a rarity to be witnessed in action. I don't believe any of us are born with grace as part of our DNA. We might be able to attain a certain level or degree of grace on our own efforts, but it generally develops into a "selective grace", we pick and choose the recipients of our grace. Overwhelmingly our natural tendency is to demand justice, to snub grace and to bring down the gavel with a sentence of harsh punishment and vengeance.Thankfully there is God's grace. First, thankful that His grace is not selective, He stands ready to shower it on all of us. Second, when we become followers of Jesus, God enables us through the power of the Holy Spirit to live out His grace in our daily lives. That is the only way we can ever genuinely, in a natural supernaturally way, respond to others with God's grace. And God gets the glory, since it's His grace that has saturated our whole being, thus equipping us with His grace.Grace in the Bible highlights scriptures from the Word of God that expresses genuine grace. That grace is then expounded upon to allow the Holy Spirit to encourage us, to exhort us, to give us hope, to humble us, to increase our faith, and best of all to reveal the truth about God's exceedingly abundant grace. Celebrate each day with a scripture of grace and be blessed!

What is the apostle Paul’s message in his Letter to the Romans? And how does it apply to us today? Is there more to learn about Romans, and is there more for the church to hear today? Keith Stanglin takes this familiar epistle and makes sense of its author’s original intent and its meaning for believers now. With attention both to the historical background and to our contemporary situation, he offers thirty-one meditations that take readers through the entire letter, beginning with the ancient arguments and arriving at modern exhortation. Each chapter is accompanied by discussion questions for use in classes and study groups. For scholars serving the church, this book is a welcome supplement to a technical commentary. For non-specialists, it is an introduction to Romans and an invitation to seek its wisdom. All readers will see Paul’s message of God’s grace in fresh ways.

As believers, staying in your posture long enough gives you the strength to give birth and see the manifestation that you rightfully earn through God. Bethlehem of Judea is a reminder of the very place we accepted impartation. This is His Glory in your life. What is Glory? Glory is Kabowd in Hebrew. Kabowd means heaviness and weightiness. Bethlehem of Judea is a place you can take off heaviness or weightiness. This place here can handle both at the same time, you receive strength and more submission to His will at the same time. A place of receiving the most earnest presence of God. Why? Because the Messiah was born. Through the graciousness and honor of being in this place, it's a privilege. In this moment Christ invites you in His presence. By welcoming you in to partake in the true worship. Once you experience his presence no one has to teach or preach it to you. It becomes a one on one experience. You will automatically identify and connect with his spirit. Yes, this place is a mirror of perceptions to respond to the activation of the required works in the kingdom. This place is a great place that we need to stay reminded of in our spirits. "Let us therefore as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you" (Philippians 3:15 KJV). "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14 KJV) Stay reminded Bethlehem of Judea is when you go in broken and come out blessed, then giving a charge to be granted to serve in the Kingdom of God as Jabez.

Give Us This Day is a unique daily devotional commentary for the entire New Testament based on the ancient method called lectio divina. Lectio divina, or “divine reading,” is the method used by the early church and countless Christians through the centuries to read the Scriptures to form and transform the soul more than merely to inform the mind. Give Us This Day deals in depth with entire passages and their contexts. Rather than selecting only certain portions of the New Testament to write about, Fr. Charles has written a devotional for each and every passage of the New Testament. Fr. Charles writes for the whole person: he’s not afraid to use his sense of humor, and he carefully relates the Bible not only to the individual’s life but also to the life of the Church. At the end of each day’s devotional, an appropriate Prayer is offered, as well as Points for Further Reflection on the day’s lesson. Each devotional concludes with a suggested Resolution to put into effect what the Spirit has stirred up in the heart of the reader during the course of his reading, meditation, and prayer.
