In February 1534, a radical group of Anabaptists, gripped with apocalyptic fervor, seized the city of Münster and established an idealistic communal government that quickly deteriorated into extreme inequality and theocratic totalitarianism. In response, troops hired by the city's prince-bishop laid siege to the city. Fifteen months later the besieged inhabitants were starving, and, in the dead of the night, five men slipped out. Separated from his fellow escapees, Henry Gresbeck gambled with his life by approaching enemy troops. Taken prisoner, he collaborated with the enemy to devise a plan to recapture Münster, and later recorded the only eyewitness account of the Anabaptist kingdom of Münster. Gresbeck's account, which attempts to explain his role in the bizarre events, disappeared into the archives and was largely ignored for centuries. Before now, Gresbeck's account was only available in a heavily edited German copy adapted from inferior manuscripts. Christopher S. Mackay, who previously produced the only modern translation of the main Latin account of these events, has adhered closely to Gresbeck’s own words to produce the first complete and accurate English translation of this important primary source.

In this brief treatise, the authors attempt to describe modern false prophets in the light of God's Word. The so-called evangelical but unbiblical messages are also clearly exposed. Instead of recognizing false prophets and preachers for what they are by their evil fruits (Matthew 7:16), some think highly of them. They assume they are genuine and blindly follow them without questioning their credibility. Jesus called them "ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing" (Matthew 7:15). The Apostle Paul calls them "deceitful workers transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:13). The only way to identify such is through their evil fruits which cannot escape the notice of spiritually discerning eyes of those who are truly converted and have God's Holy Spirit dwelling in them. Jesus' call to beware of false prophets based on their evil fruits is redundant if we choose to remain careless by tolerating in our midst such false prophets claiming to be God's anointed servants. Pastor Kamthian Vaiphei, B.A., M.B.S., is the founder and pastor of Christian Fellowship Assembly in Kalina, Mumbai, India. He earned his M.A. in biblical studies at Providence Evangelical Bible Seminary, Panvel, Maharashtra, India. Joaozinho da S. F. A. A history with sweeping implications, American Messiahs challenges our previous misconceptions about “cult” leaders and their messianic power. Mania surrounding messianic prophets has defined the national consciousness since the American Revolution. From Civil War veteran and virulent anticapitalist Cyrus Teed, to the dapper and overlooked civil rights pioneer Father Divine, to even the megalomaniacal Jim Jones, these figures have routinely been dismissed as dangerous and hysterical outliers. After years of studying these emblematic figures, Adam Morris demonstrates that messiahs are not just a classic trope of our national culture; their visions are essential for understanding American history. As Morris demonstrates, these charismatic, if flawed, would-be prophets sought to expose and ameliorate deep social ills—such as income inequality, gender conformity, and racial injustice. Provocative and long overdue, this is the story of those who tried to point the way toward an impossible “American Dream”: men and women who momentarily captured the imagination of a nation always searching for salvation.

A shocking expose' of the Word of Faith (WOF) movement, Toronto Blessing revivals, and the Prophetic Movement, like none written before. This book shows how the signs and wonders, like gold dust, levitation, and out of body trips, mostly happen to ministers and churches connected to the above mentioned movements, especially those teaching the prosperity gospel. So this means the signs and wonders are "strong delusion" that causes people to believe the lie of the prosperity gospel, and WOF doctrines. These are the ministers that Jesus spoke about when he said many false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders in the last days. The author quotes a former Christian who became a witch who went to a well-known church. She was prophesied over by four different people and they all said similar things, which amounted to God saying he is pleased with what she is doing and he will bless her work (in the coven), and to keep doing it! Fortner says this proves that the pastor and those in his church are operating by divination and evil spirits, not the Holy Spirit. And that many of those churches have a mixture of the Holy Spirit and evil spirits. He also has testimonies of people who have received demon spirits after being prayed for in one of the above-mentioned churches, especially of those connected to Todd Bentley and others in the Prophetic Movement, or just listened to their CDs. What is most shocking is the evidence that shows the top WOF preachers on TV are knowingly following Satan, because they acknowledge Satan during their preaching and teaching. He gives the evidence in print, but it is more powerful to see it on video, which he provides free online. You can see a big name WOF preacher, after taking an offering, says, "Tie my money, Satan." Unlike other books that have been written on this subject, Fortner grew up in an old-fashioned Pentecostal church where he was warned about the doctrines of the WOF Charismatics. The other books accurately show how horribly wrong these movements are, but those books are being ignored because they were written by people who attack all Pentecostals and Charismatics, not just these movements. Fortner still considers himself a Full Gospel, Spirit-filled Christian.

Believers know that when we die we enter heaven and will spend eternity there with God and the saints who have gone before us. But what actually happens in heaven? What are we going to be doing there? Won't it get boring at some point? According to Scripture, a large part of our experience of heaven will be a continual revealing of God's glory. Not just his glory in the moment, but during all of time. The mysteries of providence, the hidden movements of God throughout history, and the forgotten and unnoted works of even the most obscure of God's people will be unveiled so that we can see how wise, loving, gracious, and powerful our God is. And though we will experience perfection in heaven, we will never be omniscient, which means we will always be learning more about God's glory, inspiring us to return joyful praise and thanksgiving. If your vision of heaven has been limited to clouds and harps and angels, it's time to expand that view with the truth found in this biblically based look at the afterlife.

He explores themes of his life in the ministry, commercialisation of the gospel, lessons learnt from countries he travelled to in an effort to gain powers, and detailof the occult operation. After years of struggling to accomplish his mission of pastoring a mega church and impacting the world, he became frustrated, strayed from his true calling and fell into the trap of exploring secret powers hidden in the church today. He operated as General Khatha-Khatha within a counterfeit spiritual movement that operates under the banner of prophecy and instant miracles. This movement operates using secret powers to attract huge crowds, charges consultation fees, and promises people miracle money; leaders of this movement also perform false prophecies and staged miracles. After reading the Church Mafia, you will begin to understand that most operations in churches today are influenced by secret societies. This book will enable you to be enlightened and never to be fooled by any false doctrine practised in the church today. The main aim of the book is to make the Body of Christ at large aware of the secret operation that has captured so many churches today. It is hoped that after reading this book, your life will be enriched.
