On his way to town to have some fun, a lazy but clever young man faces a terrible demon, who declares that his time has come.

Fergus was snoozing, but he kept hearing noises. There was the quack, quack, quack of the ducks, the cluck, cluck, cluck of the hens, and the squeak, squeak, squeak of the... Fergus doesn't know what is making that noise, so he looks around the farmyard.

When the river floods during a storm, Fergus wakes up to find the farmyard under water. He helps Farmer Bob to round up the animals, but the hens are trapped on the henhouse roof. With the aid of the other animals, Fergus begins the strangest rescue.
