It’s scary. To think anyone but me someday read this. Scary to think that someday all of my deepest, darkest, and happiest thoughts might be read by somebody other than me. That all of these thoughts that glide onto paper by way of blank ink pen could reveal the purest and rawest form of me. By any random chance that some random stranger could pick up this journal, or even someone close to me could pick up this notebook, and with complete ease, know who I am. What’s scarier is writing in this journal when I’m anywhere other than my room. I bring this journal everywhere I go in case I need to unload my thoughts, and feelings. In order for anxiety to not take over me, I write in this journal. Writing is my form of therapy. It saves me from anxiety attacks and overthinking myself into oblivion. If someone does by chance read this, know that this is all it is, therapy. The abundance of words that flow through these pages is private.

The book discusses the latest developments in the entire field of three-dimensional free-radical polymerization. It is the first book on the subject comprising the research results of the last 40 years and will benefit the specialist in new high-tech areas.

From a popular pastor and radio host—Three Free Sins teaches that the only people who make any progress toward being better are those who know that God will still love them, regardless of how good they are. This book is about the misguided obsession with the management of sin that cripples too many Christians. It’s about the view that religion is all about sin…about how to hide side sin or how to stop sinning all together. In the Introduction, the author toys good-naturedly with an agitated caller on his radio program, teasing him in a segment where he offers three free sins. The offer is real. Not that Steve has the power to forgive sins, but he wants to make the point that Jesus has made the offer to cover all of our sins – not just three. Chapter one, titled “Teaching Frogs to Fly,” is even better. The gist of this chapter is that you can’t teach frogs to fly, just like you can’t teach people not to sin. Steve tells a story about a guy who has a frog, and he’s convinced he can teach the frog how to fly. The man keeps throwing the frog up in the air or up against walls – all to the poor frog’s demise. The message is that even though people can be better, they can never not sin—just like a frog can never learn to fly, no matter how much pressure is put on it. Steve continues through the book to show readers that while they can never manage sin, they can relax in knowing that they are completely forgiven—not just of three, but of all.

The Department for Education provides funding for local authorities to pay for three and four year olds to receive their entitlement to 15 hours of free education each week. The Department devolves delivery to local authorities and providers but it is responsible for the overall value for money from the system. In 2011-12 the Department's estimated funding for the entitlement of £1.9 billion provided over 800,000 three and four year olds with access to free education; an estimated annual allocation of approximately £2,300 per child. While the Department and local authorities have focused on ensuring places for children are available, there has been less attention on how value for money can be secured and improved. While there is evidence of educational improvement at age five, the evidence that this is sustained is questionable. The Department needs to do more to understand how educational benefits can be lasting. There is not enough good information for parents to make informed choices and there is concern at reports that some families are still not receiving the entitlement free of charge. It is important that all parents know what the entitlement is and that it should be provided completely free. Early years education has the greatest benefit for children from disadvantaged backgrounds however these children have the lowest levels of take-up and deprived areas have the lowest levels of high quality services. The Department needs to identify and share good practice from those local authorities which are having the most success.
