This book critically analyses the case law on EU citizenship in relation to its personal free movement rights, its status on the primary law level, and EU fundamental rights protection. The book exposes the legal space where EU citizenship variably loses or gains legal relevance, and questions how this space can be overcome. Through a thorough analysis of the core personal free movement rights of residence, family reunification, equal treatment and equal political participation, the book demonstrates how the development of the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union has generated a two-tiered legal concept of EU citizenship. Depending on the nature of the legal claim at hand, EU citizenship may appear as a poor legal personhood for exercising free movement rights; sometimes pushing the individual who is in a factual cross-border situation out of the scope of Union law. Contrastingly, in other strands of the jurisprudence, we see EU citizenship and its primary law levelled-rights stretch the jurisdictional scope of Union law, triggering the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights for review of the individual case. The book enhances the understanding of the legal concept of EU citizenship in Union law and contributes to the debate on the future development of EU citizenship, its relationship to the Charter, and the strength of its legal position for the person who exercises freedom of movement.

A workbook for sex offenders incorporating the latest developments in relapse prevention training. It features the four-path R-P model and invites offenders, in an easy-to-read style, to examine their own approach to offending, addressing the high risk factors that trigger and maintain that approach. This book looks beyond the cognitive and behavioral linchpins of offending to the powerful emotional needs that energize deviant sex. The authors believe that only by learning to meet these needs in healthy ways can offenders attain the positive reinforcements that lead to maintaining important lifestyle changes. Newly-added sections address the role of polygraphy in sex offender treatment and the role of the Internet in sexual compulsivity.

This is a book about the dynamics of the aspirational society. It explores the boundaries of permissible thought--deviations and transgressions that create constant innovations. When confronted with a problem, an innovative mind struggles and brings forth something distinctive--new ideas, new inventions, and new programs based on unconventional approaches to solve the problem. But this can be done only if the culture creates large breathing spaces by leaving people alone, not as a matter of state generosity but as something fundamental in being an American. Consequently, the Constitutional mandate of “Congress shall make no law…” has encouraged fearless speech, unrestrained thought, and endless experimentation leading to newer developments in science, technology, the arts, and not least socio-political relations. Most of all, the First Freedoms liberate the mind from irrational fears and encourage an environment of divergent thinking, non-conformity, and resistance to a collective mindset. The First Freedoms encourage Americans to be iconoclastic, to be creatively crazy, to be impure, thus, enabling them to mix and re-mix ideas to design new technologies and cultural forms and platforms, anything from experimental social relations and big data explorations to electing our first black president.

FREEDOM IS..A Book/Journal with a Twist! The twist is how this book came about. Started writing this August 1, 2001. Knew something horrific was going to happen but did not know who, what, when, where, why, and how? I was so sick, but I kept writing. Why was I writing about freedom? What is freedom to me? What is freedom to you. Think about it. What are your freedoms? Let's talk about them. This is why I kept writing about freedom. I think everyone should be free. Free to live their lives in harmony. Not to go after other people's freedoms. What that about? If you are not free and happy, do something about it. Change is good. Think about making a change in your life. Do not concentrate on what you do not want in your life. Concentrate on what you want in your life. Whether you want to change you job, location, divorce, etc. Just do it! When you read my freedoms, think about your freedoms. Then write them in the journal part of the book. Let's have some fun. What I want you to do is let me know what your freedoms are in your life. On the website let me know what you want me to write about. Everyone has different freedoms. Let me know what yours are. I may want to write another freedom book. WEBSITE:

@EOI: AEI rEOMETPEI Epigram of the Academy of Plato in Athens Electromagnetism, the science of forces arising from Amber (HAEKTPON) and the stone of Magnesia (MArNHLIA), has been the fOWldation of major scientific breakthroughs, such as Quantum Mechanics and Theory of Relativity, as well as most leading edge technologies of the twentieth century. The accuracy of electromagnetic fields computations for engineering purposes has been significantly improved during the last decades, due to the deVelopment of efficient computational techniques and the availability of high performance computing. The present book is based on the contributions and discussions developed during the NATO Advanced Study Institute on Applied Computational Electromagnetics: State of the Art and Future Trends, which has taken place in Hellas, on the island of Samos, very close to the birthplace of Electromagnetism. The book covers the fundamental concepts, recent developments and advanced applications of Integral Equation and Metliod of Moments Techniques, Finite Element and BOWldary Element Methods, Finite Difference Time Domain and Transmission Line Methods. Furthermore, topics related to Computational Electromagnetics, such as Inverse Scattering, Semi-Analytical Methods and Parallel Processing Techniques are included. The collective presentation of the principal computational electromagnetics techniques, developed to handle diverse challenging leading edge technology problems, is expected to be useful to researchers and postgraduate students working in various topics of electromagnetic technologies.
