Farheen Khan was the victim of an Islamophobic attack by a stranger in a residential apartment building in Toronto. She managed to elude her attacker, but the assault on her body had only just begun. For fear of dishonoring her family in the South Asian and Muslim community, Farheen didn’t report the incident. Internalizing this experience so deeply sent her body into an allergic overdrive, resulting in fatal anaphylactic shock. Being unable to consume entire food groups gave her an insight into how a third of the people on earth are unable to eat for a very different reason—poverty and food insecurity. Despite her allergies, Farheen worked tirelessly to make a difference locally on building the foundation for the Muslim social-services sector in her city. From the first lick of soy pudding, to despair and back again, she realized that not only can we not fight adversity alone—we are not expected to. This is an honest and candid story about accepting the angels that come in and out of our lives when we need them the most, to show us to ourselves as a reflective surface on a dirty wall. Sometimes being swept away by a giant wave beyond our understanding can take us to beaches we never knew existed; and in losing control, we can often gain control of who we are and what we are really about. Today, cured of 95 percent of her allergies, Farheen has founded and presides over several non-profit organizations to help relieve poverty.

The Black male scholars within this important book are painfully aware that the brutal murder of George Floyd was not due to a few "bad apples." They understand that they are perceived as "threats" and "criminals" within a distorted white imaginary that is embedded with processes of mythopoetic construction, racial capitalism, and a deep anti-Black male social ontology. Edited by prominent philosopher George Yancy, Black Men from behind the Veil: Ontological Interrogations emphasizes the importance of Black male epistemic agency and the courage to speak the truth regarding an America that values Black male life on the cheap and that attempts to control the movement of Black men, their capacity to breathe, and their being through anti-Black technologies of surveillance, confinement, policing, and white nation-building. There is no single monolithic Black male voice that dominates this crucial and necessary text. Each voice speaks of pain behind the Veil, revealing narrative specificity and an important recursive truth: Black men, within the white American psyche, are both necessary and yet disposable. The existential and sociohistorical weight of this truth is made painfully clear through the voices of these Black men.

This book is brought to open the eyes and minds of mainly the Israelites throughout this world, who are of the white race and are situated in the countries such as The whole of the British Isle, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, The whole of the British Commonwealth of Nations, The United States of America, Greenland, Iceland and wheresoever else they have moved to throughout this world. For we have gone so far away from God’s great ways it is absolutely unbelievable. We have actually gone so far from God’s ways, we no longer know what we are doing, for we are now in the devil’s hand and the hand of the devil’s 1st born son, King Saul himself, who is in fact the imaginary pagan individuals, such as the virgin mother and many so called saints. We have forgotten the covenant our ancestors had made with the Lord God, not to worship anyone, or thing via their graven, painted, standing, sitting images of whatsoever, God in Deut, 4:23 forbid us to do this, for he alone we must worship, pray to, serve, sacrifi ce to, and follow only his ways. When I truly began studying the bible all by myself, I came across a scripture I will never forget. This scripture is Proverbs 1:23, “Turn you at my reproof: behold I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you, “I swear that God Himself was giving me the knowledge and understanding of his great words because I was in fact proving and reproving all the scriptures with one another. One only must read this book and see all the proves and reproves I used to get a true picture of what is really happening today, and it will truly shock you. I kid you not. Yours: R.A. Mueller
