Thirteen years ago, the Nefarious Monster Army invaded Earth, but humanity's great protectors, the Dragon Keepers, defeated them in a single year! Every Sunday since, the monsters have been forced to act out humiliating defeat after defeat in front of the unsuspecting public. Determined to change this, a single monster, D, infiltrated the Ranger Force. With the help of the mysterious Ranger, Yumeko Suzukiri, D managed to seize one of the divine artifacts-the only weapons capable of permanently killing the monsters' immortal bodies! However, D's subsequent encounter with the Dragon Keepers led to his unfortunate end, so who will stop them now...?

The Green Squadron has defeated the boss monster Magatia. In the process, the Green Keeper's identity was revealed to be…the mysterious informant Chidori! D has now set his sights on a new target and an opportunity soon arrives to assassinate him by teaming up with Suzukiri. However, after tailing Chidori all the way to his home, only to find a happy family waiting there, will D's resolve remain strong?

It's the last day of the Ranger promotion exam. After the top five elite recruits joined hands against the rest, D rallied those who were left behind to form a team of his own…and they have a secret weapon that just might even the playing field, the “Burst Form”! A fierce battle breaks out over the “keys” that will determine which five candidates will advance, and convictions are put to the test. Will D finally be promoted to a full member of the Ranger Force and take his first steps toward defeating the Dragon Keepers?

The last day of the final exam that will decide the fate of the Ranger recruits has taken a dark turn at the unexpected appearance of the boss monster, Peltrola. With the sudden intervention of the Blue Keeper, D now finds himself stuck between a Dragon Keeper he despises and one of the bosses who betrayed him! Just what is D fighting for; in the end, who will he fight for? And who will survive the final exam?

D, a monster, and Hibiki Sakurama, a Ranger, have found a mutual goal in ending the war…one way or another! Hibiki is determined to reform the Ranger Force from the outside, and D vows to crush it from the inside. To that end, he has once again infiltrated the Ranger Force by swapping places with Hibiki, but the real hardship is only beginning. After having infiltrated the Ranger Force in the guise of trainee Hibiki Sakurama, D must pass the final exam for promotion into a real squadron, or he'll never gain access to his true goal, the Dragon Keepers. However, the test seems impossible: the candidates must retrieve a key from their assigned examiner, but the examiners' power is overwhelming! If they could work together, they might stand a chance, but they soon discover there's only a single “key” per team, and quickly turn on each other! Meanwhile, deep in the shadows, a monster boss thought long destroyed is making a move… Will D be able to survive this battle royale?

While pursuing a lead on the mysterious disappearances, Green Squadron managed to infiltrate the “Academy of Dreams.” Though Usukubo and Hisui have both fallen under the boss monster Magatia's spell, due to his ignorance of school life, D held onto his sanity…but got himself expelled! Not so easily thwarted, he snuck back in, determined to shatter the illusionary world. Will he manage to defeat Magatia and force those who have retreated into a fake utopia to face reality?

D finally succeeded in assassinating Red, yet why has there been no response from the Ranger Force? And why is the Sunday Showdown happening like normal? Everything might seem fine, but the Rangers are struggling to deal with the elusive kaiju and the citizens' mistrust is growing. Support for the Monster Protection Society is on the rise, and the situation soon spirals out of control when the public begins to take sides in the growing conflict. Where will D's one-monster war take him next-who will he side with?
