Hidden Voices

This is an anthology book compiled by Ishita Singhal from Firozabad(the city of bangles). She says she chose the title for her book because she feels,” it characterizes what is inside the book and around us.” This book is a compilation of about 35 aspiring writers who have put their everything into this book. Through their hard work, they have penned down wonderful sentences. It has been a rollercoaster ride for us and we appreciated it to the fullest. Hope you enjoy it too!!!! Ive written this book to give voice to the thousands of hidden voices in the Catholic Church that feel the way I do and to give hope, albeit just a little, to those who struggle with the Catholic Churchs stance on homosexuality. What follows are some of my reflections on what it means to negotiate life as a gay priest in the Catholic Church, to struggle with self and hierarchy, and to move from silence and shame to hope and forgiveness.
