My name is Ruth Carolyn Spies-Laudon. Born in 1949 to Bud and Flossie Spies (Wayne and Florence) and I have one sibling, Danny Spies. I lived in a berg called Hinton, Iowa with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. I graduated from college with a major in Spanish, minors in Psychology and Sociology with 10 hours in Christian religious classes. I have been married to my soul mate and husband for 32 years. We have no children but we have many nieces and nephews, and now many many great nieces and nephews which have blessed our lives. I have written some poetry as a child and through the years but in March 2005 I was anointed by the Lord to write Christian poetry (some whimsical) and have written over 400 poems. I’ve selected what I felt were the best in this book, Reflections of Ruth. I enjoy writing poetry and I really feel that I am the liaison between God and the paper that people read. I also immensely enjoy taking pictures of natures' rainbows, trees, flowers, lakes, barns, people — everything. I then collage my poetry with my photography as presents to friends and family. May all who read the pages of this book find that they are loved by our Heavenly Father. I find it soothing to be able to write about the Lord and all the blessings He has bestowed upon me.

The incredible story of how Chiang Kai-shek's defeated army came to dominate the Asian drug trade After their defeat in China's civil war, remnants of Chiang Kai-shek's armies took refuge in Burma before being driven into Thailand and Laos. Based on recently declassified government documents, The Secret Army: Chiang Kai-shek and the Drug Warlords of the Golden Triangle reveals the shocking true story of what happened after the Chinese Nationalists lost the revolution. Supported by Taiwan, the CIA, and the Thai government, this former army reinvented itself as an anti-communist mercenary force, fighting into the 1980s, before eventually becoming the drug lords who made the Golden Triangle a household name. Offering a previously unseen look inside the post-war workings of the Kuomintang army, historians Richard Gibson and Wen-hua Chen explore how this fallen military group dominated the drug trade in Southeast Asia for more than three decades. Based on recently released, previously classified government documents Draws on interviews with active participants, as well as a variety of Chinese, Thai, and Burmese written sources Includes unique insights drawn from author Richard Gibson's personal experiences with anti-narcotics trafficking efforts in the Golden Triangle A fascinating look at an untold piece of Chinese—and drug-running—history, The Secret Army offers a revealing look into the history of one of the most infamous drug cartels in Asia.

This book is the second revelation of Christ Jesus given to me through the Lord and an angel of the Lord named Crystal. It is my introduction to the people and the nations and fulfills the prophecies of the long-awaited prophet and descendant of King David and next in line to the throne. I however am not what the Jewish people expected. I was raised and am a Christian. In the near future, all God's people will see that I will fulfill all the prophecies in God's word as leader of the nations. This book is also about just some of the things that God is angry about, plus the answer to a lot of life's problems through the seven keys to success in life and how to live a longer, better, and more productive life using God's word and this revelation or simplified version of his Word. It is truly freedom from your addictions, mental, behavioral health, and criminal behavior problems. This is just the first book that I will be writing to the people and the nations as the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit lead me in guiding the nations with the demands they have. They are trying to buy the world more time before the second coming of Christ.
