Icel2015 10th International Conference On E Learning

These proceedings represent the work of researchers participating in the 10th International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL 2015) which is being hosted this year by the College of the Bahamas, Nassau on the 25-26 June 2015. ICEL is a recognised event on the International research conferences calendar and provides a valuable platform for individuals to present their research findings, display their work in progress and discuss conceptual advances in the area of e-Learning. It provides an important opportunity for researchers and managers to come together with peers to share their experiences of using the varied and expanding range of e-Learning available to them. With an initial submission of 91 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 41 academic Research papers and 2 PhD papers Research papers published in these Conference Proceedings. These papers come from some many different countries including: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, UK and the USA. A selection of the best papers – those agreed by a panel of reviewers and the editor will be published in a conference edition of EJEL (the Electronic Journal of e-Learning www.ejel.com). These will be chosen for their quality of writing and relevance to the Journal’s objective of publishing papers that offer new insights or practical help into the application e-Learning.

Proceedings of the 15th European Conference on e- Learning (ECEL 2016)

This book presents the outcomes of the second edition of the International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Optimization (ICO) – ICO 2019, which took place on October 3–4, 2019, in Koh Samui, Thailand. Bringing together research scholars, experts, and investigators from around the globe, the conference provided a platform to share novel research findings, recent advances and innovative applications in the field. Discussing the need for smart disciplinary processes embedded into interdisciplinary collaborations in the context of meeting the growing global populations’ requirements, such as food and health care, the book highlights the role of intelligent computation and optimization as key technologies in decision-making processes and in providing cutting edge solutions to real-world problems.

The European Conference on e-Learning was established 17 years ago. It has been held in France, Portugal, England, The Netherlands, Greece and Denmark to mention only a few of the countries who have hosted it. ECEL is generally attended by participants from more than 40 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of e-Learning. Among other journals, the Electronic Journal of e-Learning publishes a special edition of the best papers presented at this conference.

This year the 21st International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, HCII 2019, which was held in Orlando, Florida, USA, in July 2019, introduced the additional option of "late-breaking work", which applied both for papers and posters with the corresponding volumes of the proceedings. The 47 late-breaking papers included in this volume were published after the conference has taken place. They were organized in the following topical sections: user experience design and evaluation; information, visualization, and decision making; virtual and augmented reality; learning and games; human and task models in HCI; and design and user experience case studies.

This book presents a collection of results from the interdisciplinary research project “ELLI” published by researchers at RWTH Aachen University, the TU Dortmund and Ruhr-Universität Bochum between 2011 and 2016. All contributions showcase essential research results, concepts and innovative teaching methods to improve engineering education. Further, they focus on a variety of areas, including virtual and remote teaching and learning environments, student mobility, support throughout the student lifecycle, and the cultivation of interdisciplinary skills.
