This book contains a selection of refereed and revised papers of the Intelligent Distributed Computing Track originally presented at the third International Symposium on Intelligent Informatics (ISI-2014), September 24-27, 2014, Delhi, India. The papers selected for this Track cover several Distributed Computing and related topics including Peer-to-Peer Networks, Cloud Computing, Mobile Clouds, Wireless Sensor Networks, and their applications.

Intelligent computing covers a hybrid palette of methods and techniques - rived from classical arti?cial intelligence, computational intelligence, multi-agent systems a.o. Distributed computing studies systems that contain loosely-coupled components running on networked computers and that c- municateandcoordinatetheiractionsbyexchangeofmessages.Theemergent ?eld of intelligent distributed computing is expected to pose special ch- lenges of adaptation and fruitful combination of results of both areas with a great impact on the development of new generation intelligent distributed information systems. Intelligent Distributed Computing – IDC Symposium Series was started as an initiative of research groups from: (i) Systems Research Institute, P- ish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland and (ii) Software Engineering Department of the University of Craiova, Craiova, Romania. IDC aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners involved in all aspects of - telligent distributed computing. IDC 2009 was the third event in this series and was hosted by Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus in Ayia Napa, Cyprus during October 13-14, 2009.

This book gathers a wealth of research contributions on recent advances in intelligent and distributed computing, and which present both architectural and algorithmic findings in these fields. A major focus is placed on new techniques and applications for evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence, multi-agent systems, multi-criteria optimization and Deep/Shallow machine learning models, all of which are approached as technological drivers to enable autonomous reasoning and decision-making in complex distributed environments. Part of the book is also devoted to new scheduling and resource allocation methods for distributed computing systems. The book represents the peer-reviewed proceedings of the 12th International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing (IDC 2018), which was held in Bilbao, Spain, from October 15 to 17, 2018.

This book represents the combined peer-reviewed proceedings of the Eight International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing - IDC'2014, of the Workshop on Cyber Security and Resilience of Large-Scale Systems - WSRL-2014, and of the Sixth International Workshop on Multi-Agent Systems Technology and Semantics- MASTS-2014. All the events were held in Madrid, Spain, during September 3-5, 2014. The 47 contributions published in this book address several topics related to theory and applications of the intelligent distributed computing and multi-agent systems, including: agent-based data processing, ambient intelligence, collaborative systems, cryptography and security, distributed algorithms, grid and cloud computing, information extraction, knowledge management, big data and ontologies, social networks, swarm intelligence or videogames amongst others.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Intelligent Technology, ICDCIT 2022, held in Bhubaneswar, India, in January 20212. The 11 full papers presented together with 4 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 50 submissions. There are also 4 invited papers included.
