Through all the hell I went through God never left me, he just made me stronger to want to learn and achieve my goals and even though I raised my kids by myself after getting away from the abuse. My spirit was never broken, so no matter what happen in life don’t give up and don’t quit just remember it will get better and be strong don’t let no one bring and be bring you down. I see miracles happen every day for I know me and my family are one. And I met someone 17 years ago fell in love, but it was good it scared him away and two weeks ago he found me again it was like we were never apart. He had been looking for me and asking everyone and we was all around each other in many areas but we never met until two weeks ago. He says he will never let me go nor I him. An answered prayer come true so never give up cause dreams do come true. I’m a writer of Poetry Anthology. So far I’ve done a book and wrote two songs and one day they’ll be out there for the world to see. Some is already or the internet at www.poetry.com. My oldest son has a boy Taylor he will be 5 years old in two weeks and I have one granddaughter Maeleigh shes 3 months old and there both so precious at one time I thought about being a foster parent and this is changed. To where, when I get to where I’m going in life I will have a home for the homeless and help people in need to be able to get back on their feet. My youngest son has finally met someone good and hopefully one day he may be getting married and hopefully one day he may be getting married and hopefully one day all that’s done me and my man or my baby will to be. He has proposed and I said yes. But first things first always try to do what you set out to do no matter how long it takes you and in the end you’ll be glad you did I'm 54 years old now and my dreams are coming through Be true to yourself and good will follow.

This book of poems comes from the heart; the heart of a teenager experiencing the world and learning to love and have love taken away, with a few random poems thrown in for intrigue. Thoughts can be indiscriminate as a teen but these poems show a much deeper level of living and experiencing life than the average teenager is capable of capturing.

This book was written both for survivors and health professionals, some of whom are cancer survivors, too. Our goal is to provide you with a survivor's road map. --Dr. Ernest H. Rosenbaum * More than 30 medical professionals reveal insights on surviving cancer to empower cancer survivors and their caregivers, as well as the doctors who manage their continued care. The CDC's National Action Plan for Cancer Survivorship estimates that there are 9.6 million persons living following a cancer diagnosis. And this number is strictly related to patients. It does not include family members, friends, or caregivers. For anyone approaching life from the perspective of remission, respected oncologist Dr. Ernest Rosenbaum leads a team of 34 oncology specialists and medical contributors--some of whom are both doctors and survivors themselves--in creating a guide specifically geared for cancer survivorship. The growing number of people approaching life post-cancer will find solace, understanding, and opportunity with information specifically geared to managing the lingering effects of cancer treatment, such as: * Lifestyle changes to improve health and longevity * What survivors need to know following anticancer therapy * How to manage the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy * How to set goals for the future

This is a collection of poems woven together with the threads of belonging that bind us to one another and to our memories of the past. It is true that poetry does something that no other kind of writing can do. E.E. Cummings wrote that, Poetry is the algebra of the heart. For many of us, poems answer questions and solve mysteries in a distinct way. Kathys poems are no different; they reveal a soulful journey, a mapping out of her childhood and her life that many can surely relate to. She explores the concept of time and history and unearths the power that those who have come before us have on our lives. She draws on natures beauty and the simplicity of landscape and season to frame the images she offers to her reader. A little break from tradition; the reader will also find two forewords in this wonderful book of poetry! The first one is an in depth profound preview, the second the author has chosen to name it "Forward" a welcome parlour leading into the heartfelt Preface which tells the story behind this wonderful journey of both compassionate and heartwarming poetry!
